I was seated promptly but that’s as far as I got. There were a few people there. 2 waitresses went behind to kitchen talking the job. After a few minutes they come out and go in different directions. I sat waiting and waiting. I didn’t even get a drink or water. After checking emails I finally got up and left. They still ignored me going out the door. I won’t go back!

Stopped here on my way from Phoenix to Sedona. It was one of the only places open at the time I went, but I'm glad I did. The food was amazing. The only issue was they were out of a bunch of stuff but we're super accommodating on letting us do substitutions on our meal. Everything was good, place was clean, and our server was extremely nice and friendly. If you need a place to eat, this is a good option.

If I could give zero stars, or even negative stars,I would. We ate there a couple months ago and it was good. It has gone COMPLETELY downhill here.We got there around 6am and a guy who looked like he had just rolled out of bed took our orders. I ordered over easy eggs and when my eggs came out hard as a rock (almost 45 minutes later) I asked if they could send over easy eggs out since they were cooked improperly. I usually do not send food back but they weren’t runny at all as I asked for. I later learned the server had tried to charge me for EXTRA eggs even though they weren’t Cooked right at all.My boyfriend asked for extra eggs and he didn’t get any. When he pointed it out and was given some he was not given any extra, but still charged for extra eggs.I asked if my meal came with hash browns because I wanted to add some on if it did not. The server informed me it did. When I didn’t get my hash browns I asked why and this man brought a menu over and read it to me telling me it in fact did not come with hash browns, and did not give me the chance to order any.At one point some sketchy looking guy, with a knife on him, not in uniform handed us a plate of food. The server was talking to him for a while and afterwards this guy got in a white van and started smoking either marijuana or something else right out in the parking lot in the creepy van. I even know if he worked there.We were not checked on ONCE after we got our food. All I wanted was some hot sauce and drink refills and never got the chance to ask. My friends toast was burnt, boyfriends French toast was burnt, friends pancakes were hard and my other friend never got his ranch.after we had been done eating another server who had just come on shift arrived and asked if we got our check. I said no, we weren’t check on the whole time. She informed me that this man is her MANAGER so I couldn’t even complain to a manager. We were shocked.At the end when I asked if I could tip the other girl, she said no the manager who served us would get the tips. Managers in Arizona aren’t even allowed to accept tips because it’s illegal. Needless to say we didn’t leave a dime and won’t be back anytime soon. We will save our coupons for cottonwood.10/10 worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Absolutely insane. And I usually tip well because I used to work in the restaurant industry and I understand it.

We were a party of 5 so we placed 5 different orders and all of them were either burnt/missing stuff or ingredients and when we told them about the missing items they just brought the check lolThe restaurant was nearly empty as well so I'd understand if it was packed but meh...I'd definitely wouldn't stop to dine in here

April 7, 2024 at 11:30 AMWe have no idea what the food taste like because the hostess screwed the pooch before we could even sit down.Thanks to her manic exterior and despicable greeting manners - we went directly next-door to the new chicken shack. (Flew the Coop) we gave that place five stars!!

Went on a family vacation and this was the closest thing to dining for breakfast. Unfortunately we felt very unwelcome, host was very rude, she denied us service and refused to give us an option to wait or be put on a list. Wish they had better service this isn’t the first time this Denny’s has given us problems but it is the worst experience we’ve ever had. Needs new management

Host refused our service the minute we walked in. We asked how long the wait is for a party of 8 and she said we can’t take you. That is too many people. I then asked her can we split our group up and still get seated. She then says sorry but no we are extremely short staffed… felt very discriminated and sad that she refused the minute I asked.

Did not get to eat. Left after waiting 15 minutes to be seated. Server/greeter was rude. My husband asked if they were even open and he stated "no". We left very disappointed. Two couples left before us as they didn't want to wait. I guess Denny's no longer cares about their customers, service or making money. Very sad.

Stopped in on a Saturday during dinner rush and up front the hostess told us that we could be waiting about 20 min for food. The family was hungry so we stayed. It was Savanah, one other woman and just the cook and they were running the whole show. Super attentive despite some guests being irritated. We still ordered within 5 minutes and food was out within 15. I would’ve never know they were shorthanded. They maintained a great attitude the whole time, check on us often, and the food was great. We really appreciated the service! The visit was on 03/23/24, Denny’s please recognize these 3 employees!Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free English Muffins in stock, and was a substitute for toast at no extra cost. This was a huge plus!

Was Charged for items that we were told they were out of and refused to give us our money back that we had already paid for. Refused to give us our 20% discount that we had entered on our online order and also provided at pickup. Steak was so bad that you could not cut thru any portion of it. Staff extremely rude. Tried calling next day to speak with store manager and get his name. They refused to tell me his name saying, "I don't know it". Asked if he/she was on duty and they said to "leave a message" and they would transfer me. Tried 3 times and phone disconnected each time before giving you the signal to leave a message. Finally, left a message to please call me but to date I have not heard back from anyone. Would NOT RECCOMEND this Denny's in Camp Verde, Arizona to anyone.
