I ordered a chicken fried steak skillet. That consists of homefries, scrambled eggs, cubed chicken steak and gravy. First, know that almost every where I go, I have chicken fried steak. This was piled on a small plate to begin with, so the small amount of gravy never got past the scrambled eggs, so everything else was dry. The eggs were rubbery and the chicken fried steak was old because the coating was separated from the meat! All in all I was quite disgusted. And had to resume my trip home hungry. AWFUL

The omelets are excellent. Highly recommend. My husband had eggs over easy and they were fantastic. Also make sure you get the biscuits you won’t be disappointed.

I asked for scrambled eggs with ham. It looked like an omelette with no cheese and not folded. The cook basically scrambled them in the dish, but forgot to scramble while cooking them...... The B & G were BOMB! LUKE WARM coffee. I love going to small hole in the wall dinners for breakfast. That's where you can find some of the best cooks. Not that day. Sorry!

The food was good. Service wasn't that great. In their defense they were busy. The waitress was friendly, but keeping my coffee cup full and getting refills was not top priority. Had to hunt her down to get our bill.

We drive down almost every weekend from Flagstaff because our regular breakfast place closed down. The Verde is great. Awesome service and delicious food. Best Benedict around.
