Great ribs and brisket and collarded greens. Not real busy. Sat outside and enjoyed the western sky turn spectacular colors. Super margaritas too!

Hands. Down. Best. Nachos I’ve had in my life. Crispy chips, topped with real queso cheese, jalapeño, cilantro, perfectly smoked brisket shared with $5 margaritas… mm mm mm pulled pork sandwich was melt in your mouth, taste-bud-gasm heaven. Don’t rob your taste buds. Go eat at CGQ’s!

New in town so we thought we would give this place a shot. So glad we did the food was cooked perfectly the meat slipped right of the bone of the ribs. The sides were great as well. But what we really loved is the outdoor patio with the lights. Service was fantastic and super friendly. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for the great dining experience.

Excellent barbecue place in casa grande much more reasonable prices than you get in the big city.

Update: We went back to CGQ with high expectations and were highly disappointed! Their Queso wasn't Queso at all, it was just chili salsa with some cheese on top. The Mac and Cheese was not very cheesy this time, whereas last time it was ooey gooey cheesy. The chicken was mediocre. The brisket this time was very rubbery and unflavorful, it definitely was not cooked long enough. It was so bad that we sent it back and the waitress mentioned there must be a problem with the brisket because we were not the first ones to send it back. We ended up accepting the chopped brisket to go to make up for it, in hopes it would be more tender, but upon bringing it home we discovered it was half just fat. Whatever cut they used was not true brisket. The staff was still very friendly and tried to apologize and make up for all the disappointment, which we appreciated, but ultimately it was just a huge disappointment. A restaurant like this needs an experienced full time BBQ cook that knows good BBQ and can effectively replicate exceptional meat daily. This place has potential, but the food is just not consistent. We will give them another chance sometime, but we will continue our search for the best BBQ in Arizona, because this was not it...Who knew the best BBQ place would be right here in Casa Grande?! My boyfriend and I just moved to Arizona and we tried this place for the first time last night, it was so good that we have already planned to come back again and have planned to take all our friends and family who come to visit us there! The food is amazing and the menu is so fun! We shared some messy taters with brisket, which is loaded fries and then the Pappy's Melt, which is a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese on it! I never thought to put mac and cheese on a sandwich, but OMG it was so good! The brisket and pulled pork was cooked to perfection and their mac and cheese is just delicious! We also tried their cream sodas, which are so amazing too! Their restaurant is a tad small inside, but they have an outdoor patio too. The decor and atmosphere is so cute and charming! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The waitress noted that my boyfriend wanted to make sure there was no sauce on his sandwich, so she came back and asked if we wanted the sauce they normally put on the messy taters on the side which, being that he literally does not like sauce on anything, he greatly appreciated that she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food the way we would like it! It truly was such an enjoyable experience all around and we look forward to coming back to try more of their menu items. We highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already, you will not be disappointed!

Food is excellent! It's a small place and quiet. Service is good too. I haven't ordered one thing that hasn't been delicious. If you have a chance to stop by, you should definitely give them a try

Just went to pickup an order. Sliced brisket, onion rings, pulled pork and beef sausage. Brisket was tough, no smoke rings and fatty. Not the fat that adds flavor. 1/4 of each slice was fat. No Smokey flavor, really no flavor at all. Pulled pork had some flavor but very greasy. Mild beef link didn't have any smoke flavor but was still ok. Onion rings were very the best part of dinner. Sad when it's the appetizer and not the main course.

We stopped in late Saturday afternoon for some BBQ. This place did not disappoint. The pulled pork with cold slaw was delicious! They have two type of sauce: house & sweet - both were delicious. In addition, the homestyle fries were plentiful and really good too! The peach cobbler was a bit disappointing, but we left happy and full

Had lunch here a few days ago when visiting Casa Grande. We tried ribs, pulled pork, fries, cornbread, chili and beans and a drink called Frog Spit, which is limeade with cherry flavor and Sprite. The main thing is that the barbecue was good. Service was amateurish; there were a lot of little mistakes, but it didn't matter. I would skip the Frog Spit next time, but the food was good.

Cooks need to try to eat their own cooking and need to double check their customer orders before serving.Really disappointed in shoe leather rib, all fat for the other rib, no corn, no salad, watered down sweet teas, disgusting dishpan burnt fries, need I say anymore other than we will never be back

Waited and waited a very long time for our lunch, long enough that we had all finished our large drinks. Then decided that we would just change our order to takeout so we could leave. Then waited some more ????... Once we were finally able to eat, we were all very disappointed. A lot of smoke taste in the meat but not alot else to say. My daughter got mashed potatoes and there was absolutely no salt in them at all! Lots of pepper though. Food was just sub-par although pricey, super disappointing.
