Tried to eat here, never even got seated, even tho it was near empty
Very good soup & service
Really good food!
One of the best places to eat downtown. Anything you order on the menu is good and the cookies and pastries are delicious! Maryann is always professional and kind. I highly recommend eating here! It will not disappoint.
I normally have a decent experience however today was not. First- please share with the staff that handles both check out and food offerings to please sanitize or wash your hands after handling trash or changing it out. She went straight from handling the trash to handling the dessert items requested . Not hygienic and not ok. This was also the second time Ive paid for items I did not receive after requesting these specific amounts twice. Also, when a customer asks for a bag to carry item's because their walking, it would be a little more helpful to have the staff bag the items instead of just handing it to the customer to do themselves. Its called guest service. I understand it is a young girl I interacted with on these occasions but those little things with a smile and a thank you would also go a long way. Don't know if I'll be returning. I definitely will not eat the deserts I just paid for because of lack of hygienic handling. Again, my previous experiences have been OK with the exception of The last two, especially todays.
I still dream about the Chocolate Crinkle cookies I used to get here.

Had the country breakfast and the croissant breakfast. Food was excellent. Got some desserts to go - the lemon bar in particular was amazing! Will definitely be back

Our men's team was in town for a soccer tournament, we needed a place to get a quick breakfast. the food was fantastic, the service was even better. the whole team talks about how great the breakfast was, and how fantastic the service was.

Food has been delicious the past few times and today was no different except for our waitress. Several things became clear to us once she came to ask for our order, she wasn’t interested in checking to see if we needed anything further, didn’t offer any refills, walked passed us multiple times without asking g how we were doing etc. However she seemed super comfortable and friendly with most of her other tables 🤔. I’m sure she doesn’t own the business but she can take credit for serving up cold hospitality and sour ass service!!! Not impressed at all. Guess we’ll be going elsewhere. It’s a shame, there are a few good people working there but this bad apple smells up the joint!!!
Oh she’s sweet as pie with the European clientele. I’ll leave it at that! We need a place where all are welcomed and treated with respect. Show us the same consideration or get $0.00 business. I wonder how long that business model can sustain itself?

Posted a google review of my experience here this past Saturday. Kinda felt like we were back in the 50’s and we were doing something wrong, like sit at a table and order food to dine in. Our waitress was very friendly and comfortable with all of her tables except for ours 🤔. She smiled and greeted her guests but for some reason we didn’t receive this type of greeting. It was like someone flipped a switch and she went from one mood to a completely opposite one with the blink of an eye. I watched her walk around the room checking on her tables and asking if her customers were okay. Once again, we were not part of that equation. Nope, we were never asked by her if we had everything, we had to ask her for refills, napkins, hot sauce etc. I should’ve been paid for the time we were there because I had to serve myself and nephew. I’m sick of the micro aggressions ignorant people think they can get away with. Showing preference to other patrons right in front of our faces is just disrespectful and NASTY!
Historic feel, mom and pop place
