I really wanted to like the new Filiberto's Mexican Food location in Casa Grande (Pinal and McCartney), but to say that we were underwhelmed is putting it mildly. Mild is really the operative word here; the food was so bland that it had absolutely no spices whatsoever. I don't even think it had any salt or pepper in it! Come on; it's MEXICAN food. Should there be minimum some spiciness level? Also it cost us more than $37 for two breakfast burritos and two large drinks. Wow, at that rate we will need a loan to be able to afford to eat there on a semi-regular basis! Also the drive-through was extremely slow, even after we got up to the window. Definitely not the definition of "fast food." We will not be returning.

This is the new Filibertos on the north side of town, which is convenient. The food is delicious, fresh, and comes in large quantities. Love this location more than the other two in town. The carne asada is way more flavorful and they give you more than a spoonful of sour cream. I don't see the problems of other low reviewers. So far, we've tried and can recommend their carne asada fries, super nachos, cali/az burritos, chili relleno, and the breakfast burritos. It's been great every time, with consistent generous quantities of food. The only small downside is that they're not 24/7, but it makes sense with the surrounding older clientele. The hours are still pretty good : 6a-12a every day. I think it's worth the drive, even if you live a bit far.Vegetarian options: Not many vegan options but plenty of rice and bean options for non-vegans.Dietary restrictions: Not the best for dietary restrictions. Sure, a few dishes are de facto gluten free or vegetarian, but it doesn't go out of its way to cater to these restrictions.Parking: Pretty big parking lot. I assume most take out, but that could change in the future.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with some options. Obviously Mexican food. Not great for picky eaters.Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps and handicap parking, but I don't think it has automatic doors or the button to auto open.

They make Doordash orders last and will not start cooking until you are there. Avoid at all costs of you actually want to make money delivering.I called them out on it and they just dismissed me since I'm not a "customer".The last two times I was here the cook (same guy) gave me the stink eye.

If I wanted a rice burrito with 12 pieces of pork and green chili skins, that is what I would have ordered. Worst Chile Verde burrito in 20 yrs of eating at Filabertos once a week. I think $10 bucks for rice is ridiculous.

Beans were so salty they were white. It was like eating pure salt. Salsa was also so cold that it was more like a thick sauce. Probably go to the other ones til they work out their problems.

Compared to Vaqueros and Rili-B's, this place is not where it needs to be yet. Texas burrito was smaller and not as tasty as the other Filibertos in town. The California burrito was severely bland. I had to add salt. The salsa didn't have flavor just the heat. I'll give it a few months and try it again?
