Great margaritas, food.

Amazing food, amazing service, and the band was AMAZING.

Taco Tuesday 2 weeks ago Party of Five waited for 40 minutes to be seated. The host said it will be fine we will still get appetizers half off. The waitress said no problem we ordered full appetizers after she said no problem. She got confrontational when we said hey appetizers are not on sale. She put the order in a half hour after we were seated. I asked for the manager she had one of her girlfriends come up and say yeah whatever she says we can't do anything. So as she was walking away I said I just want to be a girl I don't want to argue over money. She slammed on her brakes and come at me with a attitude saying what did you say? Maybe this place needs a boss around especially on Tuesdays this is one way to make your tip bigger by making the bill bigger. She got what she deserved a zero tip.

Lousy house margaritas. Very sweet. Chicken tacos very bland. Worst I have had in years. Will not go back

Dined here with a group of friends and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just b/c I felt like my fajitas were mostly peppers and onions... I'd like some more meat! The ambiance is nice but the tables and chairs were cheap and not super comfortable. Overall, very good Mexican food, big menu and friendly service.

Everything is delicious here and the servers are friendly and helpful.

I was not made aware that you only get one fried ice cream for the entire group when paying cash. On our most recent visite we were asked to leave shortly after our meal because they needed the table. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food was so good, me and my girlfriends first visit and we'd definitely visit again. Our server was polite and friendly. Definitely a great place to visit and try.

Server was wonderful and the restaurant was beautiful but that's the end of the positives. My sister was served straight rancid food, like the whole table got a stench after it been there for a few mins. I don't know how quality control could be that low that something like that could make it to the table. They did remove it from the bill and luckily she only took one bite unfortunately I was not so lucky.

I have been vomiting every time I take a sip of water and it's coming out the other end with the same frequency. I can't remember the last time I was this sick but good thing I'm 1000 miles from home on vacation. Spent about 2 hrs at urgent care vomiting the entire time and then had to get one of the most painful shots in you know where.

I've heard from a lot of people this place used to be really good but since the new restaurant things have slipped a bit. I will never go here again but hopefully they get it together because it's a truly beautiful restaurant with a great waiting staff.

Also, if you have the time read through the owners replies to negative comments. If anyone has watched kitchen nightmares total Amy's baking company vibes.

The food was good but unfortunately had some miscommunication with the staff. My order was misheard and the manager came out to offer to make the mistaken order for take out. When the bill came out, they charged me for both items, my original order and the mistake order. I was never informed that they would be charging me to remake the order, and if they had I would have kept the mistaken food. They also never mentioned that they would charge me for the take out. They also charged extra to make margaritas spicy(another detail that wasn’t mentioned ahead of time). Overall the food was fine but I would not return due to not being told about those charges and being mislead.

We have been eating at Carlota's for several years and love it. They staff has always been friendly and welcoming when we eat there. Food has always been great and never a long wait after you order.
Highly recommend eating here for an authentic meal!

We ordered a margarita, nachos, chili relleno, Carlota’s burrito, beef taco, and cheese enchilada. The food ranged from mediocre to bad. It’s the kind of “Mexican” food I’d expect to find in a regional, midwestern airport. A lot of the food feels miserly. The nachos were bizarrely mostly bean with little cheese and they were very stingy with the quac and sour cream, a scoop of each the size of a golf ball for a platter of nachos you could serve a turkey on. The chips and salsa were the best thing we ate, but they serve two very small bowls (think a child’s cereal bowl) and after that they charge $2.50 for each additional, minuscule bowl. I’m surprised they didn’t charge us for ice in the drinks. Can’t recommend anything here
