Service was lacking. We asked for a doggie bag, but we inadvertently left it on the bar when we left. Came back less than 30 seconds later, and they had already trashed it. After I already left a nice tip!

That's our second bad experience at this restaurant.

Service and food was Horrible. My brother got fajitas, they brought it out on a plate instead of in a sizzling skillet. Has really gone downhill since they moved to the new location,yes,they were served on a plate and definitely not by his request

Taco meat had nary a grain of seasoning.
Why?
Boiled chicken is for dogs with gastritis. Not tacos

Horrible food. The furniture is dirty. They use pace tomato sauce from the store for their sauce, the chicken was tough. I would not go back to that restaurant

Was in Catalina and went to a restaurant called Carlota's Authentic Mexican. The staff was nice and attentive. The food was disappointing. The refried beans and rice was a 5 out of 10. The enchilada sauce was orange and bland, 2 out of 10. The salsa was also disappointing, 3 out of 10. Plus the hot and mild salsa didn't have any jalapeño or green chili flavor. The prices were a little high for the quality.

I have become a go to taco tuesday every Tuesday for years now at the one and only carlota's. I love the ground beef tacos bean rice grilled chicken entries not to leave out he grilled bell pepper carlota's salad. Never yet to not be pleased. Wonderful food and atmosphere job well done!

Taco Tuesday 2 weeks ago Party of Five waited for 40 minutes to be seated. The host said it will be fine we will still get appetizers half off. The waitress said no problem we ordered full appetizers after she said no problem. She got confrontational when we said hey appetizers are not on sale. She put the order in a half hour after we were seated. I asked for the manager she had one of her girlfriends come up and say yeah whatever she says we can't do anything. So as she was walking away I said I just want to be a girl I don't want to argue over money. She slammed on her brakes and come at me with a attitude saying what did you say? Maybe this place needs a boss around especially on Tuesdays this is one way to make your tip bigger by making the bill bigger. She got what she deserved a zero tip.
Bring your cash so you can get a free ice cream I wonder why?

Lousy house margaritas. Very sweet. Chicken tacos very bland. Worst I have had in years. Will not go back

Dined here with a group of friends and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just b/c I felt like my fajitas were mostly peppers and onions... I'd like some more meat! The ambiance is nice but the tables and chairs were cheap and not super comfortable. Overall, very good Mexican food, big menu and friendly service.
