Babbo Italian Eatery

We live the food at all the Babbo's. We usually go to the one in North Glendale, but we work in Scottsdale and go to the one at the Pavilions often too. This one up North off Tatum is way out of our way, but we randomly decided to go. Food was great, as usual, service was not so great. The lady serving us was snooty, and never smiled. She also didn't come around often to fill out drinks or bread and oil. Location is in a strip-mall. All you can see is a big McDonald's and part of a car wash. It's not as nice as the others we frequent, but better than the one off 12th Street. That one has the worst atmosphere.

Just wanted to shoutout the guy (I think maybe a manager?) that was so thoughtful and saw my sister, myself, and my nieces sitting on the bench outside. We had just stopped to give them a snack before we kept walking and he popped outside and brought my nieces each a piece of freshly baked bread. IT WAS SO GOOD!! just wanted to say thank you for the nice gesture. They definitely enjoyed the bread more than their snacks we packed lol. We plan to come back next Monday for lunch with the girls to get some more yummy bread and try some pasta :)

Great menu variety just missing more sauce on the pizzas. Even if you request more it just never seems enough…

The service and the food is always the best!

Brandon was great as our server during our visit. The service was attentive and quick. We all enjoyed our various pastas. I had the creamy garlic pasta with chicken and it was very tasty and served hot! They also treated us to the zappoli dessert since it was my birthday. Unexpected but much appreciated!

I love their wedge salad. They do have great lunch specials. But I really enjoy their wedge salad, I always ordered it. So far everything I've tried has been really good, from their appetizers salads, pastas, and pizzas. Next time I visit I'll have to try their sandwiches.

Food was good, I’ll give this place the credit for that.

The place is an icebox inside so bring a coat. I sat down at the bar, ordered a beer and a pasta, then they bring me my check and my food in a plastic bag. I thought I came in to dine, but guess not. So that’s fine, I’ll eat in my car, oops no utensils either.

Drove home, ate, the food was really good. Service, pretty sub par. Environment, colder than Chicago in January for no reason at all.

Eggplant a glob on a plate. I asked for a thin pasta with the mushroom dish. I still got spaghetti. I would assume every bartender knows what Tangeray is....not here.

Sauce filled the dish i ordered, so much sauce i had to empty it in a different plate. Taste was not what i expected maybe due to that much sauce. Anyway, service was friendly and great but they need a new chef.

Food is not bad, also not very memorable.Place can use some more cleaning including tables and bathrooms.**Staff needs training, they are friendly, but lack the guidance of simple expectations. The place had only a few tables seated on a Saturday so I'm guessing the locals feel the same way.

We've been eating at the Babbo restaurants for about 20 years. Food is always great, good quantity, fair prices and kind helpful service. They will accomodate special requests, if they can. I've never had a negative experience.

Just moved to the area and have had take out twice. Servings are very large. We got the Lasagna and the three cheese Mac and cheese on this trip. Easily enough for three meals each. Bread is awesome! Not much in the dessert dept, they need some cannolis or chocolate cake. The staff was over the top accommodating and friendly on both visits.
