I used to enjoy coming to the distillery! New ownership, however, is leaving much to desire.
I was charged $1 for asking for a splash of grapefruit juice in a Happy Hour vodka soda. Male bartender was very rude when I questioned the charge. I contacted the business directly from their website about the matter and never received a reply. More recently, and back for another Happy Hour, I was charged full menu price because HH is not offered on Tuesdays. It seems I missed this information when visiting their website? Besides, a neighbourhood spot should be vastly more welcoming and customer-centered than that.
To be fair, the ambience is lovely and the food is quite delicious.
But the business would do very well by being more attentive to customers and, especially, customer complaints.

My wife and I had lunch on Saturday and everything was great!

I stopped in for the first time for a special event. Most definitely going back. Kudos to Taylor and Nina for a warm welcome, and to Nicole for an outstanding luau themed experience with very tasty food and engaging entertainment. Taylor makes the best mai tai. The shredded pork and coconut shrimp were my favorites. Great place to hang out, and so conveniently located for me.

Update 19 Aug 2025: looking forward to lunch, arrive 30 minutes after they're posted open time. Doors locked. Drove away to see them turning on the open sign.

Update 14 September 2025: Sat down at the bar. One of four other people at the bar. The same bartender who greeted me on my first visit waited on the people to my right, waited on the people to my left, texted on her phone, talked to the people on my left... refused to acknowledge me. Service rating adjusted accordingly . Never again.

Side salad was really good. Server seemed distracted, even though the place was not busy. Super prompt on drink refills though. . They add in the 3% to each item and add tax to that. So when you pay cash and they should remove the 3% it's really hard to figure out and appropriate tip. I didn't like this aspect. Spacious booths!

Great atmosphere. We came on a night when a server called in sick, the place was packed with customers, and the restaurant STILL ran like a well oiled machine. Food and drinks came out fast. Food was awesome (jalapeno cheddar hush puppies, black and bleu burger, bourbon steak bites, bourbon steak chili, and kids grilled cheese) and service was excellent. Margitas are not only delicious but BIG. Will def come back again.
