I had the chance to meet Bryan, the owner and culinary genius, behind this amazing hidden gem. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to. All the recipes used here are a special proprietary blend ingredients Bryan himself perfected over his years spent in the kitchen. Unfortunately for all us foodies out there, I'm sad to say he will be retiring quite soon. There will, however, be another BBQ pit taking over the location. They will be hard pressed to live up to the amazing food and great atmosphere Bryan's has provided Cave Creek over these past years. Bryan's will definitely be missed by this foodie.

Recently visited because I heard it was closing soon and is known to be very good bbq. I ordered a brisket sandwich combo. Brisket was tender and juicy, bbq sauce was different. I was glad that the brisket was tender enough not to need alot of bbq sauce. I got the baked potato salad as a side, I probably should have went with fries. I didn't really care for the sour creme flavor in the potato salad. It just didn't meet my taste buds' standard preference. Prices compared to the very small portion of sides didn't match for me.

I really enjoyed this place. The customer service is great the options for sitting outside or inside I loved. I had not had a chili with this unique flavor. I am used to all chili's tasking similar this one had a different delicious flavor. The brisket tender and delicious at this point I am sure you can tell I enjoyed this place definitely recommend!

Great BBQ! The meat is lean and delicious! It's a quaint little place that is spotlessly clean. Parking is easy and there's a wonderful bakery next door where we often pick up goodies to take home.

When you walk in you are immediately greeted by the smell of brisket in this cute and rustic restaurant. It’s a very no thrills BBQ with a small menu and cafeteria style service. The ribs were the best part of the meal as they were tender and flavorful. The coleslaw was a little bland and definitely needed a lot of salt and pepper added. The beans were okay but the fries were crispy and warm. If you are craving tender and juicy BBQ this is a good spot but the sides need some work.

When I was done ordering at the counter the cashier asked me if I would like to add gratuity, being my first time there wasn’t sure what to say so I told her to add 15%. For this 15% I absolutely got nothing, They couldn’t even bring me my food as well I had to clear my own table so I totally felt ripped off for that 15%. As well I ordered a pork sandwich which tasted like they took all of the fat and everything left over and put it on my sandwich, I kid you not!! I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy, total cost $59.60 for two people, wish I had gone to a real barbecue restaurant.

Ordered the baked potato brisket. Potato was lukewarm. Meat was barely warm and not much of it. Let me add that they have the cheapest utensils in the world. I challenge anyone to try to eat their potato with those utensils. Good luck. No ranch as well. My wife ordered kids meal chicken. The chicken was slimy and cold. High prices not worth it. The pictures on the wall look good though. Maybe the chicken is different for adults?

Consistently great food and atmosphere is nice. The fries are delicious and the rolls for the sandwiches are nicely toasted. We like to eat on the patio. We don't live as close as we used to but whenever we are in the area we like to eat hereVegetarian options: The pulled squash sandwich is a great vegetarian option.

Good food, but it's weird they ask you to leave a gratuity for the staff when they don't provide waiter/waitressing type of service. It seems the owner is asking us to pay the employees wages (which of course we already do by purchasing food from there). It seems very weird.

The bbq reminded me of STL BBQ. Best I’ve had in Arizona!

Great look and great atmosphere and that's about it. Sweet tea is from a machine and not freshly brewed. Brisket is bland, but tender. And the sauce well,,,,,, it is so odd. Every year we go back hoping this place has found a good rub for the brisket and some new ingredients for the bbq sauce, but every year the same thing. Hey the music was good though.
