10/10 All around. The atmosphere was amazing, the Food and service were Great! Live music was great and the staff was Very friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

We stopped by Frontier Town to make some last-minute Christmas shopping and decided to have lunch at Hansen's Cowboy BBQ. To start, we ordered a plate with 2 meats (brisket & ribs) with a side of sausage and mac n cheese. We also ordered a chicken taco. The barrender informed us that the mac n cheese either takes a little bit longer, but we have no rush. I think it was very kind of him to let us know ahead of time. They also had a cranberry bida spritzer as a special, which i am glad I ordered. It was very refreshing and just the right amount of vodka. While we waited for the food, the kids tried lazo for the first time. The bartender noticed they didn't really know what they were doing, and he took the time to show them how it's done.
The brisket was tender, not too fatty, and our table had three different BBQ sauces. My favorite was the Cherry Chipotle. My family liked the original BBQ sauce. The Jalapeño sausage had the perfect amount of spice. the mac n cheese was dusted with flaming cheetos, which gave it a different twist and a flaming cheeto lover, I was pleasantly surprised. The kids loved the ribs, they we crispy, juicy and tender. We had to other another 1/2 rack of ribs because the kids devoured it. The chicken taco was smokey and topped topped with cotija cheese and a Chipotle mayo. Everything was amazing! My kids asked to go back today. We will definitely be back soon! The service is great, food is on pint and the atmosphere is a breath of fresh of air.
Unfortunately, i did not think of taking pictures, but trust me when I say you need to try Hansen's Cowboy BBQ!

If you only had time for one meal in Cave Creek, have at Hansens BBQ ! Phenomenal food (yeah we tried it all), great service in a great setting, this place is an awesome spot to dine. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back. Highly recommend!!

Had my second pulled pork sandwich and my first sliced beef brisket. The pork was fresh, juicy, smoked to what I would call medium rare and delicious...just perfect, so good thought I try a half lb.
Of beef brisket and cowboy beans....both cooked just right.
Moist and full of flavor. Service ...food came out in less than 5 minutes. With Cave Creek being know for its BBQ....let it be said it doesn't get any better. It sets the standard. Further...wanting to order to go and talk to a live person, ...tried calling, no answer and voice mail was full, so I texted my wishes..with 2 , minutes, the owner Denise texted me back as she was on a conference call, and all was handled as I wished.

Best barbecue in cave creek! And cheap drinks, definitely need to stop in and check it out, the atmosphere was Wonderful and the music sounded great. The owners were lovely and made it feel like I had known them forever, can’t wait to go see some more music here

Great place I had pleasure to perform at and will be there again as a musician. The food is excellent and so is the stage and the location itself. Would also work for photoshoots and weddings.

We love this place. The brisket is the best I’ve had out here in AZ and the elotes is exactly how I like to eat it (in a bowl) a must try if you are in the area. Oh and ALWAYS get the cheddar and jalapeño corn bread.

These people just don't have it together, you can pay cash, only exact change. Out of food, seating is terrible. Never again. Update: the food was underwhelming.

Atmosphere is fantastic, so is the food! Super kid and family friendly. Mac n cheese, salmon tacos and the cornbread are great.
But it’s all about the BBQ, melt in your mouth delicious!

Stopped here for lunch on a family day outing. Every single thing we ordered (chopped brisket, tri tip, pulled pork and all the sides) had flavor and was so good!!! We already have plans to come back. Hubby talked to the owner and couldn't stop complimenting him on a great meal!! Pricey but worth it.

My husband is actually an incredible pit master so everywhere we go we are disappointed by the smoked meats. This place was SO GOOD. The brisket was phenomenal. Super fun atmosphere and friendly staff! We will be back for sure!
