I was going to the "divine' bakery. I thought since it was local it would be a nice bakery. But i realized i was waking in to a nightmare. I waked in with my daughter and she was walking around and the owner said "Hey don't touch anything." We then went to order and we got macaroons and boba. When we got home we tried the macaroons and they were crusty and stale. And one of the owners did not listen to my boba order. It was something completely different. For 4 macaroons it was $15! My boba was another $10! I would 0/10 not recommend. I would recommend Glazed. They are amazing there!

Buyer beware. I didn't know you could ruin pastries. 60$ for five pastries as dry as sand and a loaf of bread all while dealing with a rude sales person. The bread wAs good. Everything else terrible.

Lady In there was RUDE it made me leave and not buy anything . The only bread I picked up was hard and she yelled at me to put it down . Tried to take a picture of her sign she yelled at me not to take pictures. She could have easily been nice about it but instead yelled and was rudely harassing us to the point that we left .

Wow! What a fool I was not to read the reviews. All accurate. The food looks unsafe to eat, the lady is either senile or just rude or both. I requested an Italian soda, she said there is nothing sparkly there. I saw blackberry lemonade on the menu and ordered that instead. I watched as this woman took a styrofoam cup, shakily filled it with ice, then dumped some minute made powder in the bottom, took an open water bottle sitting on the counter, poured some water in, and then added some blackberry syrup. She said I "need to shake it because all the flavor is on the bottom." I paid $6 for what appears to be backwash and pantry leftovers.

This was one of the few times I went somewhere without reading the reviews and boy do I regret it. The owner was discretely rude from the beginning, but it got worse and worse the longer we were in there. I asked for 2 cinnamon sticks and she put 3 in the bag (which we did not see) and of course charged me for 3. The apple turnover WAS great, but that's the only nice thing I have to say. The prices are laughable and the quality of the cinnamon sticks and almond pastry was just garbage. She couldn't answer a single question with a straight answer, every response was snippy and uncalled for, even the answers to the questions no one asked. For example... we asked do you guys have any donuts? She says this is a German bakery I don't deep fry anything (and proceeds to rant about being against deep frying pastries)... um ok, do you have donuts or not? Upon reading other reviews and seeing the owners response it's clear that she's blatantly rude and disrespectful and just doesn't care. Steer clear of this place at all costs.

I really wanted to love this local bakery and be a frequent customer but I guess I'm not a big fan of European style pastries. We got a cheese danish and a hazelnut fan danish and they were both rock hard and not tasty. I even tried wrapping one in a slightly wet paper towel and microwaving it when I got home in an attempt to soften it up. Still rock hard. I'm used to a softer style personally. Maybe this is how they are made in Europe? I don't know. If this is how you like your pastries then this place would be awesome for you. The also were only taking cash and waited until after they made my coffee to tell me. Luckily I had the cash but it would have been nice to know before hand as I only had so much cash on hand. I'm giving 3stars instead of one because they do have gluten free stuff available.

This place IMO is well worth the price and the owner is perfectly pleasant. No idea where the bad reviews are coming from. the strudel is authentic and they have a wonderfully wide selection of zotter chocolates.

Good pastries but seriously overpriced. The chef/owner I guess was very rude and snippy. Any question we asked or didn’t even ask was met with a sarcastic response. No bathroom. The place has potential but it’s utterly destroyed by her poor attitude. We won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend going.

Hello everyone! My name is Craig. My wife is the owner of the bakery. With this post, I am responding to all of the haters that feel it necessary and important to slam and to belittle others and their businesses. As all small business owners know, we work very hard to produce a great product for our customers. We all realize that we can not make everyone happy. We ask that you at least have the courtesy to talk to us directly then and there. This would greatly solve any misunderstandings. It is very difficult these days to keep a good composer, when some customers come in, and become very demanding and disrespectful to us. We are very proud of our accomplishments and businesses. I ask that you continue to support and respect our business. If you feel that our shop can not fulfill your needs, then please respectfully move on. With respect, Craig

Girlfriend and I stopped in here today while on a stroll through the area without reading any reviews prior, big mistake. They say first impressions are everything. We arrived around 5pm and noticed the business next door had the front door open although they were closed. This shop had the door open as well, so we asked just to be sure - we were informed they would only be open for another hour at most because they "had to be up at 1 again" - okay??? Upon asking any questions about the products, we were continuously met with rude, abrupt answers. While gently browsing merchandise, we were snapped at and told not to handle the freeze dried snacks in a way that would damage them, as if we were dense. When my girlfriend asked if the food sold here was made in-house, she was once again met with another rude response about the bakery being miles away. Looking at the other reviews and owner responses it is clear this behavior is normal for this business and instead of trying to be more customer friendly or apologizing for poor experiences, they respond by seemingly trying to justify their own actions. Yikes. Upon leaving my girlfriend asked if I noticed how rudely we were addressed inside. I definitely did. The prices here are borderline outrageous, some items, such as the baked goods are almost reasonable at most. The taste of the food was alright, which is the only reason this review is getting two stars. However, the taste was really no better than any baked good sold for far cheaper at any local grocery store. To anyone planning on stopping here, I would highly recommend avoiding this place and taking your money elsewhere than to be treated in such a way.

Hi Jayme C! Not sure why you are being the mean guy here, but this shop does bake everything. A friend helps with breads. The bakery is about 10 miles from the shop. Obviously a 1000 sq ft bakery does not fit in. According to the daily news, we are in a wave of inflation. Businesses are having to pay double and triple for supplies, ingredients, packaging and shipping. Thanks to our government, this is how the country is slowly evolving. Pretty much everyone knows that and is doing their best to adjust accordingly. Have a great day!!

To say we are unbelievably disappointed is an understatement!!! This bakery is a joke! A bakery that doesn't bake its products?? I'm very confused but indeed that seems to be what we have here. Biggest complaint hands down is that the prices are just unreal! Barely anything has prices on it and when I went to go pay I think I was in the state of shock! The quality of what they sell there is not good and overall I'm really questioning how this place even stays in business. My total was over $70 for a few small packages of cookies, a streusel, and a few dog cookies. I rarely leave reviews but I felt like I really needed too. Also, neither of the ladies working there were very friendly and helpful in fact I got scolded for touching a small stuffed rabbit toy! We should have walked right out but we were suckers! Don't waste your money!

Not sure about this place. Espresso maker was 'broken.' So we settled for plain coffee. We handed the woman our travel mug to fill with the coffee -- as we do in coffee shops all across the country, including many Starbucks in Arizona. The woman gave us grief about it and tried to tell us it was illegal, muttering something about the health department. We wanted something sweet and the word 'gelato' caught our eyes. We each ordered the tiramisu flavored gelato. I'm guessing the so-called gelato was weeks, if not months old. Gelato is creamy. This was nothing but ice crystals that tasted of some kind of artificial flavoring. Gross. And highway robbery at $7 apiece. We threw them both away.
