Been going here for about 2 yrs. Good food, good value, friendly staff. Now, under new management, food portions greatly decreased, and new queso congealed before I could finish one enchilada. Also, when I received my bill, they charged me $4.95 for chips and salsa after I drank 2 beers and paid almost $20.00 for two tacos with rice and beans. When I questioned the chips and salsa charge, the girl said verbatim “ nothing in life is free”. Horrible attitude when you are trying to revitalize a business.

Everything was good, just the margaritas were a little too sweet, and I would recommend to use real fruit instead of flavored syrups!Service 5 stars and excellent atmosphere…

Food on this one is hard for me, some was good, some was bad. Let me start of with the chips and salsa, I actually enjoyed a nice salted tortilla chips with some decent salsa. Not spicy, pretty good flavor.I ordered the burrito with ground beef. So the filling of the burrito was good, but the outside salsa was just horrible. I’m pretty sure it was just canned enchilada salsa and it didn’t have a good flavor. Burrito is way better without the salsa. Rice was ok and beans had no flavor.Wife had the fish tacos. She said they were ok, nothing special. She also had the drunken beans, I tried them, those were good. I would serve those over the regular beans any day! But, they do have a slight kick.Service was good. Young man served us and was very attentive. Gave us good suggestions.Atmosphere it was nice inside, but not a lot of customers when we were there, so just felt dead. I think the owners/managers were there talking to their friends, and that was the majority of the people. So, it was about 50/50 on what we liked. Price was normal.

I had a Mahi soft taco and chicken crispy taco with black beans. The flavors were delicious. Scenic outdoor patio was great.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. To my disappointment it was not good. I ordered the Elote Corn and mini Chimis. The Elote was terrible, it was greasy and over powering with some kind of herb. It definitely wasn't any Elote I've had. The Chimis had no flavor, and again too much of a certain herb. My friend got the taco plate and they too were so greasy. Service wasn't great! The bar tender was also the waiter. It got busy and he did his best. I felt bad for him. He was very nice. It's a Saturday and Happy hour, you would think they would have a waitress helping him. It wasn't Authentic Mexican food for sure.

Great burritos, get the red salsa on top, so delicious. It's a little spicy but so good. Service was outstanding, food came up real quick, we were on lunch so it was nice. Great local place to have a drink and some really good food.

Not good anymore....went down hill fast. Salsa tastes like tomato paste, get the hotter. No flavor just hot. Tacos for $8, very common, better on roach Coach. Sorry Tried again, still

I went to go pick up an order for UberEats and I left with free delicious nachos. The people from the waiter, cooker, to bartender were kind. I can’t recommend the tequila lol because I am a person of faith but the food was great.

We tried Loco J's out shortly after they opened and I vaguely remember it was hit and miss and we wanted to let them settle in a bit before we tried again. Fast forward to last week. We stopped in for dinner and happened to catch Taco Tuesday. I had one of each of the 4 meat taco options: beef, chicken, al pastor and carnitas. The carnitas was dry, the beef was greasy, the al pastor was ok but nothing special and the chicken was my favorite of the lot. It had the most flavor but it the chicken itself was a bit dry.We also ordered the "Favorito Trio" which consisted of queso, beans and guac. The beans were pretty good, the queso was probably canned with too much salt added after, the guac was absolutely store bought and gross. It had the fake overly-limed preservative flavor that the prepacked types always have. They even added pomegranate seeds to the guac to try to disguise that fact but it was inedible. I find that Guac is often the best way to see what is happening backstage at a Mexican restaurant. We will be sticking to the other, fresher Mexican restaurants in the area.
