Had a great time at this pub. Outdoor seating has a great mountain view however we elected to sit inside as it was chilly outside in January. Food was very good and great selection of drink choices. Our server was terrific. I would definitely look forward to a return visit.

We decided to try this place for a late lunch after we arrived from the airport. The freshly made pork rinds did not disappoint. We had the pulled pork sandwich, the BBQ was succulent and tasty. We are planning on returning for New Years Eve. The outdoor dining has amazing views. It was a bit windy during our dining experience so choose to eat inside. But a nice day would be so great to sit outside.

Nice evening out with live music and overlook on mountain background. Food was delicious. Drinks underwhelming and overpriced.

We had two lunches, one great, one not so much. Only reason not 5 star. Server was excellent and the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. The reuben sandwich is very good, not impressed with the buffalo chicken wrap.

Mountain View Pub in Cave Creek is truly a hidden gem. The food is consistently great, the 1–6 PM Happy Hour is one of the best around, and the live music creates an easy, laid-back vibe. The views are incredible, perfect for a sunset drink, and pet friendly. Whether you’re stopping in with friends or bringing the dogs along, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend.

I give this place 3 stars because of mixed results on all phases of our dinner experience (my wife and I) that would have been lower but for the young lady manager. We were there on a early December Tuesday and were given a special Martini menu. I ordered a Classic Martini. It was decent and a good value. Then we ordered the shrimp in marinara sauce with toast points appetizer. The shrimp were good, the marinara sauce was average at best and everything was warm but not hot. I took a bite of the toast points and it was awful! I turned it over to find the back side burned a deep black. I flagged down a busboy\server helper (our sever was not available) to ask for a fresh piece of toast. He seemed confused and the manager was walking bye and took the burned toast into the kitchen. A few moments later a fresh properly toasted piece of bread was delivered.
For our dinner my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was offered frys or side salad for which we ended up with an unexpected few dollar upcharge the sandwich and salad were good. I ordered the Blarney burger. When it arrived I tried to cut it in half. My knife was unable to do the cut as it ran into a glob of greasy something that must have been the onions. It was inedible. I called over our server to show and tell at which he became argumentitive but took it back on the tray with my side salad that I started to eat. I trundled over to the bar to explain my concerns to the lady manager.
My food came back with my partially eaten salad. Now I had four raw red onion rings (no breading and not cooked) as punishment by the cook for expecting my food to be prepared as the menu described. I put those off to the side.
The manager came bye as we were finishing up and asked how my burger was. She saw the four raw onion rings, I opined that they were not cooked and she immediately said she would take care of it and headed again into the kitchen.
She took my burger off the bill, I paid the rest and even left an acceptable tip amount.
We would never go back as the experience was a one star but for the lady manger taking care of her customer.
