The atmosphere was wonderful and everything looked amazing. Unfortunately they fell short when it came to the service and the food. I ended up going to the bar to get a drink since our waitress hadn't come back to the table or ask if we wanted anything else. The tacos I got weren't anything I would want or order again. I was looking forward to trying this place out since it looked amazing but was met with disappointment instead.

Super disappointed with the level of service here. Waited at the hostess stand for about 30 minutes along with a few other parties at lunch time (1:30pm). No hostess or employee ever arrived. Ultimately wandered over to the bar with a couple other people who were waiting and was never even acknowledged by the bartender. After waiting a few more minutes (10?), we left to go elsewhere. I get that it was an event weekend, but the lack of staff and lack of courtesy shown was extremely disappointing. The same people who were in line at the hostess stand were still there as I walked out. The line never moved at all.

I recently dined at Ofenda Mexican Grill, and it was great from start to finish! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Even during a busy evening, we never felt rushed. Overall, a 5-star experience! If you’re craving authentic Mexican flavors in a fun setting, Ofrenda is a must-visit.

We were visiting the town for the Cave Creek Roadhouse, I stopped in to use restroom and see if it was where we wanted to eat. The restaurant was empty and I wandered in and the front person told me there was no public restrooms, I walked out and he slammed the front gate behind me. We would have considered eating there if he had not been so rude. We would have been happy to buy a drink.

Came on a Friday night at 630pm and was surprised to see only 3 other tables occupied. That should have been my sign to turn around. Our server was very sweet and recommended the nachos, saying they were a signature item. I ordered them, they are nothing special. Just queso and a few jalapenos. Very blah. I asked about fish or seafood tacos because they only listed meat. She said they could do a shrimp taco so I ordered it. Totally inedible. The shrimp had that soapy taste that comes from frozen bagged shrimp that weren't rinsed properly. I had to send it back. I ate some of the black beans and rice that came with it but those were also below par. Would not recommend this place. The margarita was okay but I don't believe there was any actual tequila in it.

Two servers were working the entire restaurant. They were friendly but couldn't keep up. It was over an hour from when we had a reservation until our food was at our table.
