The pizza is good for the area but if I’m comparing it to real New York pizza it would just be okay. If you’re looking for pizza and you’re in the area it’s going to satisfy the craving but doesn’t win any awards!
I enjoy a quality pizza, and these folks do it right. Everything from the thickness of the crust, the flavor of the sauce, and the quality of the toppings, all cooked to perfection.
After #1 Brothers Pizza closed down on Cave Creek Rd. and Desert Willow, I was on the prowl for the best pizza slice in the valley. After much traveling and tasting, I finally found this Ray's pizza. Two brothers run this family business and know how to make a delicious New York style cheese pie. Perfect cheese/sauce ratio, crispy thin crust, truly #1! Not only that, their calzones, subs, and monster pizza are fantastic. Great local pizza joint I 100% support. Try it!
