Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill

The food was awful, completely flavorless. I was shocked to be charged $5.50 for what amounted to half a cup of salsa. The restaurant was empty, yet the service had no sense of timing, which is especially disappointing during lunch hours when most people expect quick in and out service. If it weren’t for that overpriced salsa, the meal would have been even worse. Honestly, whoever advised opening this as a Mexican restaurant gave very bad advice, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. $60.00 down the drain.

What caught me with the location was the green umbrellas outside on the patio, the atmosphere was amazing! The restaurant was clean, the staff was great, the management was top notch! The el pastor taco was tasty, the donut and cream was delicious and the watermelon fresca margarita.. wow! I would highly recommend this location and I'll definitely be back!

I love this place! I have eaten here many times and they are very consistent with the food quality. The service is great and Gilbert and Chui are so personable. They make special maragaritas just for me with a hint of jalapeno. I'm hungry just wrting this review.

Salt and Lime appears to be a very clean restaurant with festive decorations. Unfortunately, their only inside seating are high top tables or seats at the bar. It was noisy and hard to carry on a conversation. There were several tv's with various sports programs and music playing. The food was good; but not exceptional. The service was high point of our dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and extremely officiant!

We've been to this spot 3-4 times since the new owner took over and it became Salt and Lime. This time was easily the best.

Every new business (*especially* the restaurant business) is incredibly difficult to make successful the first year, so it was easy for us to give some grace the first few times we went there and had a few mishaps with orders, service. I'm *so* glad we returned.

Dropped by on a Saturday during brunch (till 2:00 pm) and the food was AWESOME. And filling. We both ordered the skillet and it was SILENT while we ate because it was so darn good.

The drinks? Even more awesome. Thank you Aubrey for the suggestion to use St. George chili vodka in my Moscow Mule. It was a GREAT drink. What's even cooler is that you credited one of your customers for giving you the idea - a lot of people would've just claimed it as their own. Very cool, my friend. Very cool.

Last but not least, let's talk about our server, Carli C. Talk about a good human being. My husband and I left there like we'd been served by an old friend. We'd never met, and yet, I left there feeling like Norm from Cheers. Thank you for being authentically kind and really making sure we were taken care of. She was always two steps ahead of us and we never had to ask for a thing before she was already at our table with a refill.

Real Talk: this spot is more expensive than we'd usually spend on a casual Saturday meal. But the warmth of the staff, the flavorfulness of the food and the relaxed vibe have been hard to find these days around town. For our money, definitely worth the price.

Every time I call the phone number to take an order it connects to a robot who is unable to place orders or connect me with a team member. And offers online ordering to a inactive website where you cannot order. I have brought this to the attention of the host 5 times over the past 3-4 months. Very frustrating, and is making me seriously consider stop going here.

Great service, and atmosphere. Been here twice and the servers and bartenders are very kind. Food is Applebees status, drinks are strong which is all we care about, but I wouldn’t order any cocktails off the menu next time I go.

Waitress was terrible (argued what was clearly stated on the menu, took forever , had to beg for water refills, only brought one menu for the table). . Food was okay, but not as described on menu. Atmosphere ok , aside from an obnoxiously loud drink guy (at 1 pm). Definitely wouid not return. Yes, we spoke to the manager who just said he agreed with our concerns
