This is our go to spot! Sunday's has all day happy hour that cannot be beat. Make sure to try the barbacoa tacos, they are out of this world! Aubry and Tim always take such good care of us and it's why we are becoming regulars! Got to even meet the owner this morning and she and her partner are lovely.

Salt & Lime in Cave Creek has a really nice atmosphere and the food was very good overall. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were flavorful and cooked well, and my friend enjoyed the chicken street tacos. Service was good and the restaurant has a fun vibe.
The only thing we did not care for was the chips and salsa policy. What used to be complimentary is now a $5 charge that goes toward a charity selected by the restaurant each month. While supporting charity is a great idea, guests are not able to choose the charity themselves, and we personally did not want to participate in that program during our visit, so we passed on the chips and salsa.
Outside of that, the food quality was solid and we still enjoyed the experience.

We sat inside but the big windows from the bar to the patio were open and the doors were propped open so the flies were terribly annoying as soon as the food arrived.
Noticed other customers using napkins to shoo flies. Got to go boxes asap.

Your food sucks! It's obvious your culinary staff doesn't care. Bartenders only saving grace. I tried restaurant twice. Worried chicken not kept at prop temp and getting food poisoning. Great location but always empty and now I know why!!! Look at nearby competition- always full. You need to make major changes or CLOSE and let someone who knows what they're doing take over.

I ordered steak fajitas and as filler they used mushrooms instead of meat, I hate mushrooms. Very disappointing, seemed like a bait and switch on the food.

I don’t even know what to think about the people who have left good reviews. Like, are you ok? Have you never heard of spices? It’s just absolutely terrible food. I live close by and really, really wanted to like it. I’ve tried a number of times and each time I remember why it’s not the “just ok” I’m willing to settle for. i promise you I am not joking, we are running through Taco Bell after this. Seriously go to Filiberto’s if you want not basic Mexican. It’s better and you don’t have to overpay for it.

Place is terrible! We came in at 8:00pm on a Saturday night completely dead! They would not serve one of my friends saying he was to drunk! Actually guy barely drank this evening! Then they had the audacity to call the next door restaurant to inform them! Cave Creek resident and will never visit this place and let everyone know not to either!! Ridiculous!!
