These cupcakes are amazingly delicious! Not too sweet... Perfect!! My MIL and FIL had the German Chocolate Cake and my husband and I had the Chocolate Cream. Both were out of this world! I'm sure the Lemon Drop and Birthday Cake will be just as amazing.

I ordered over the phone and had a co-worker pick up the cake, so I cannot speak to the atmosphere, but the rest was outstanding. I am gallery manager of Thunderbird Artists Gallery, and was running a sculpture unveiling event. Smallcakes (via Kulsoom and Shayne) provided me with a beautiful design and probably the best cake I have ever had—super moist, and the frosting was the stuff of angels. Everyone was raving about it and the artists were thrilled. I would never go anywhere else for my future cake needs!

Smallcakes in Cave Creek never disappoints! Their cupcakes are simply DELISH, and they are very accommodating to custom orders too. I ordered gender reveal cupcakes from them in May, and the associate who took my order was very kind, patient, and attentive to my order request. Don’t miss out on this yummy shop!

This place is not as good as the reviews. Ordered a pull-apart cake for my daughters birthday and sent and email to their baker and owner with explicit instructions with pictures. They don’t even care to understand customer needs. They just delivered what the baker could make. I think they dont even have a baker or they have a part time baker. In the bakers absence they just delivered whatever they could. Look at what i have ordered and look what they have delivered feom the pictures below. The owner says ‘this is the maximum we could do’. If this is the maximum they could do they would have simply told us well in advance and we would have gone to a place who could honour our request.

My son loves football and is a Cardinals fan! Dylan turned 13 and his jersey is also number 13! Dylan’s football team is the Assassins. They did a fantastic job on his cake!

We ordered 6 cupcakes via DoorDash and we loved all of them! The presentation was beautiful and they tasted delicious! The cake was moist, the frosting was creamy, it was sweet but not overly sweet. There is a lot of frosting and the whole thing is incredibly rich, I could only eat 1/2 of one. We ordered the birthday cake, red velvet, peanut butter chocolate, salted Carmel, and cookies & cream. If I had to give any critic it would just be that there is quite a bit of frosting but if you love frosting then you will love it! I just took a little of the frosting off and it was perfect :) The little ones loved them too! Thank you for making delicious cupcakes!

Truly one of, if not the best cake I’ve ever had. Not only absolutely delicious, but beautifully made and exactly what I asked for. Very reasonably priced as well. Also the staff is super kind and helpful. Oh and their cupcakes are delishhhh as well!!

For me it was 2.5 stars. The cake was beautiful. Exactly what I asked for. But eating it was a different story. Cake layers were too thick, over baked and dry. Lemon curd tasted very fake. Frosting was thin but tasted good. If your priority is looks over taste then definitely order here. If not my recommendation is to go somewhere else. For me it was very disappointing.

Cupcakes and the cookie sandwiches are so good! My kiddos love the ice cream as well.Super cute little shop with a corner of toys of the kids. The young ladies behind the counter are patient and kind.
