This is still a nice place to sit outside and enjoy food and drinks. It’s quite popular so sometimes parking and seating can be an issue.
This time we stopped by for lunch. We had 2 salads, the Monterey with chicken and the Cobb. Both salads were nicely prepared and reasonably sized. But the chicken on each of them was surprisingly tough considering the pieces were diced.
There are many other choices that are excellent, both for lunch and breakfast. The patio is dog friendly. And the service was great.

We stopped at this place on a whim and I'm glad we did because I just had the best Pumpkin Chai Latte ever! Their grilled mushroom veggie sandwich was pretty legit too.

Food is incredible. My favorite is the Bacon Grilled Cheese Panini. But really anything from the smoothies to the Salads are top notch. The outdoor patio is a great place enjoy your meal and I highly recommend this place.

My neighbors and I always choose The Grotto when we get together for lunch. We bring our out of town guests here too. The most popular meal choice is their famous chicken salad sandwhich. ❤️
We had our dog with us, so ordered our food to eat in their outside patio. It’s a pretty atmosphere, but within 5 min, I was covered in mosquitoes. I had welts all over me. I quickly changed order to go. I’ve noticed mosquito problem there before, but this has become a health issue! There’s a water feature and standing water. Weird to have tjis problem in the desert. It needs to be addressed.
