Don't know where these high ratings are coming from, service was hurry up and order, didn't care at all. Was upset that 3 of 5 didn't order a cocktail from the over priced list.3 of 5 food orders were cold, sent it back, they were going make a one, 30 seconds in the microwave and it was back, with same plate and still cold, server didn't care, manager was worse. Once we said something about the food never saw server again. Absolute waste of evening. Don't go is the best choice

Great place to eat with a beautiful patio for outside enjoyment. Have eaten here several times and everything I've tried has been amazing. I would definitely recommend this as a great place for lunch or dinner.
Our server Sara was great! The food the desert and their signature non alcoholic driinks were wonderful! They were very kind to accommodate us on where we wanted sit. The restaurant is tucked away and a good quiet area.

Corn chowder average. Hardly any corn. 3 out of 5 for taste.Posole excellent 4 out of 5. Perfect heat and flavor. Pieces of pork rather than pulled pork knocked down to 4 out of 5.Salmon was average 3 out of 5. Farm raised slight pink color.Stuffed chile relleno with shrimp was a 4 out of 5. Very good but served not very hot.

Tonto has been one of my "go to" places for over 30 years. The food is always tasty and unique. Love the location. Patio is lovely. Service is always solid. There are three brothers that have worked at Tonto for 30 years. That only happens when the owners treat you with respect. Same respect that they show their patrons. Don't miss this awesome place for all it offers!!
The atmosphere was the best I've had in a long time! It's quiet, they had enough heaters, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Our server even recommended a wonderful spot to check out after dinner. The food was delicious and they cater to GF people, which is a rare find!! I will say the portion of food could have been a bit more, but over all the experience was amazing and I'll be coming back here often!

The view, ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The place was a wonderful feeling of old Arizona. We were there in the early evening and the sunset on the moutains was incredible.

1st things 1st.. make a reservation. Walking may be subject to an hour wait. Service was perfect and food was surprising. It's pricey but they give you a good amount of food so be thankful you're not getting 3 peas strategically placed with a sauce design lol. And the food was very good. I'd never had walleye before so I had no expectations. I honestly didn't expect to like the crème brûlée because of the sesame cookies but it was so good very unexpected. I recommend for a date night, anniversary or special occasion. Even catching up with someone you haven't seen in years bc it's not noisy and they don't rush you. Again higher end on the pricing scale so I wouldn't come here just to grab a burger. But definitely a great place to bring out of towners for a good meal, conversation and a nice view.
