Food is ok. Bottom line is, if you don't APPEAR to be someone they would hang out with, they will purposely allow you to sit there with no fork, or no water. Done experiments just to see how it goes down. If they don't like you, you will leave a little angry. Guaranteed. I could say more, but as long as they don't reply to this, I won't 😁.

This is good old school place, worth trying.

Service was spot on and the food was incredible. They make their gravy fresh every morning and it was Devine

Old School place, small, middle of nowhere breakfast spot. Pork chop meal is the fav!

Don’t forget your cash. No problem if you need an atm it’s in there.
I loved my chicken fried steak breakfast.
Grandsons enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. We ate on the front porch. A roadrunner visited us too.
LOVED the GRAVY. Our server recommended it.
The prices are very good. Nice sized servings.
We felt right at home and everyone was very welcoming.
If you’re a snob it might not be your kind of place. Who cares if you’re unhappy because snobby people are never happy. Boo Hoo.
We will be back😃🇺🇸😃🇺🇸😃

The best local spot in all Phoenix/Cave Creek area. We drive 30+ minutes every weekend for this special gem. Real people, amazing food and the staff is family. Susan. Brandy, Linda, Lisa are all beautiful humans with nothing but love and kindness (good old sass too). The biscuits and gravy are the best in the valley, the potatoes are perfection and the pancakes are exactly how a pancake should be-delicious and not filled with bougie ridiculous ingredients. Patio is pup friendly (staff adore dogs), cash only, and quick in-and-out. Cannot recommend enough.

Went for a quick breakfast before bike week, food was pretty good but kinda small portions. Prices were decent. But - they are cash only, which if it's on the menu or posted somewhere, I definitely didn't catch that. They do have an atm - but who the hell wants to be charged ATM fees when it's ridiculously easy to get a square reader these days??

Underestimated this place a little bit but we went for breakfast this morning and it was really great! Bacon, eggs, omelet, chicken fried steak, pancake and definitely the potatoes were fantastic. We went at 8 AM on a Friday and there was zero wait.

Love the old school feel of this restaurant! Breakfast potatoes were hand cut and tasted absolutely amazing! Steak tasted like grass fed and not the cheap steaks everyone else serves. I also love the fact they don’t accept credit cards!

Omgosh! I'm a newbie in town, and I hunted for quite a few months for a really good breakfast, before I stumbled on this gem. Linda Lou is the absolute sweetest lady in the world and she will walk you through the menu and the history of the restaurant.
They are absolutely on point every time I go!

NEVER, EVER EAT HERE!
Okay look, If I'm being honest I only wrote that heading because most people in Cave Creek don't even know the wagon wheel exists...and I'd like to keep it that way! Ever wait for and hour only to have some weird concoction passed off as a "real" breakfast? Not here! The Gals (yeah, you can still call them that without getting sued) are nice, the food is good, and the prices are outstanding so PLEASE don't screw up a good thing by all running down the to grab breakfast!

This is Arizona. From the location to the food, welcome to Arizona. If you are looking for snooty high end dining - this ain’t it. If you want the best biscuits and gravy and down home food - this is it. Add to it the staff are amazing and have been there for years.

We now go at least once a week!
