Food is fantastic. Great experience.
Folks always like it.
It's set up nice and spread out.
Huge menu and excellent service.
We went for lunch, and tried the green chili pork chimi. Good flavor, fair amount of green chili in it. Not spicy hot but sure not bland. Don't go often but never a disappointment.
I LEFT A PAIR OF REBAYS ON TALBE 22/1 AFTER 10 MINS OF BEING IN THE RESTAURANT I CALLED THE MANAGER ON 6/22/25 AND EXPRESS TO HER THAT I HAD LEFT A PAIR OF RAYBAN SUNGLASSES ON THE TABLE AND SHE HAD NOTHING TO SAY TO ME BUT THAT I WAS ACCUSING HER WORKER OF THEFT.WHEN I KNOW THAT I LEFT MY GLASSS ON THE TALBLE THE MANERS NAME WAS SHARA SHE WAS VARY RUDE AND DID HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DID CARE TO FIX MY ISSUES OR HAVE THE DECENCY TO CARE TO FIX THE PROBLEM WHILE YELL AT ME AND SAY PORUD THAT SHE WAS THE MAIN MANGER.
Real authentic Mexican food. So good!!
We went there for Father's Day. I got the grande. It had a beef taco, ground beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, cheese enchilada, chili relleno, beef tamale and rice and beans. All for 25 bucks. It was worth it. My mom has gotten the Green Chile Chimichanga, she said it was really good.
It was a great service, and the menu prices were ridiculous for the quality of the food. Almost 18.00 for lunch. The green salsa was very good. The happy hour menu was LAUGHABLE!
The Food quality & service were great! Check out their happy hour!
Had grande platter and fajitas with corn and flour tortillas. Excellent!

Don't order the Durango burrito. It's no larger than an enchilada.

I’ve been going to Abuelos for a long time and I’ve noticed a change for the worse the past few years. We ordered the fajita combo and it looked like thick-cut pre-packaged beef and chicken strips thrown on a hot plate. The rice was crunchy and the beans had very little seasoning. My son got a Coke and the glass was dirty. I am extremely disappointed with what Abuelos has become.

We love Abuelo's. The food is well above standard Mexican fare, the service great, and the atmosphere is quiet enough to actually hold a conversation without having to yell across the table. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the east valley. Highly recommended.
Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free section of the menu.

We have enjoyed dining at Abuelo’s for years. It continues to be one of our favorite places for Mexican food. The food is delicious. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is beautiful and very clean. Since moving from Chandler to Mesa, we haven’t been able to go there as often as we’d like, but Abuelo’s will always be on the top of our list for Mexican Cuisine and a lovely atmosphere for a night (or day) out. (Oh, and my husband believes the Tres Leches cake is, flat-out—to DIE for!)(And it is.)😜
Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly and cater well to larger groups and families.
Wheelchair accessibility: Booths and tables are both available and there is plenty of wheelchair accessibility.

We first went to Abeulos in Rogers, Arkansas. My brother did all the concrete work at that Abeulos. The food was so good there. We were so happy to find Abeulos close to us and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is there. We will be back for more.

It certainly is food. We got fooled by the overall high score. Kinda feels like this is what someone who has heard of Mexican food but never had it would make. Works for some people and that’s fine but if you like more authentic I would recommend skipping.
