Omg …. Tried the food truck in down town chandler and it was absolutely AMAZING !!!! mike was the sweetest person and he gave us a sample of the chicken it was absolutely delicious. Being Hispanic it’s hard to come across really good Mexican food. But this was honestly the best food I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be visiting the restaurant!!!

First time I had them was from their food truck. I was down because food trucks usually don't have vegetarian options but I'm so glad I asked because this is the first time I've seen soy chorizo at a food truck.
I've been back 3 times just for their chorizo quesadillas and they are massive.

We decided to go with Achiote as our food vendor for our wedding coming up in March and all expectations have been far exceeded so far. Mike has been so amazing and helpful through the process and we cannot say enough good things about the employees in the restaurant. The food is just another bonus, you cannot go wrong with any of the tacos or food in general. We are so excited to see how it all turns out in March and have comfort knowing our guests will be well taken care of. So appreciative of this business!!

What a wonderful experience! The food is absolutely AMAZING! We ordered chicken tacos for our two girls (they absolutely loved those, and the churro ice cream!) and chicken burritos for us. The grilled cheese on the outside of the burrito just makes it so unique and you definitely enjoy every bite! The white rice is also amazing. My oldest does not like white rice, and said it was the best white rice he’s ever had. The owner Mike and the woman at the front and were such a joy! Very thankful we found this place. Will definitely be back again.…Thank you!!!
Mike and his staff were very friendly, and very informative about their vegan options. We got a black bean arepa to go as well and flan and churros, everything was a 10 out of 10. The arepa had so much flavor, would highly recommend this place for the food and friendly service!!

Moved to Phoenix from northern states. I haven’t had any restaurants that I’ve liked since I have moved here. However, Achiote has become one of my favorite spots. The food has yet to disappoint the few times I have gone there. The prices are affordable, which seems to be rare these days. 10/10 would definitely recommend going here.

Went here for the first time on 9.9.24. My friend found it while searching for new places to eat. It seems to be a blend of multiple latin cultures, but wow was it great. We got the Don Achiote taco plate with rice & beans, a few Arepas, and the churros. All of it was just fantastic. The meat was tasty, the tortillas were really good, and the service was amazing. It's a small, new, restaurant owned by locals. I'll definitely go back again. Come support them!
