Such a great experience! We can’t wait to go back. Cacio E' Pepe table side was delicious. Lobster Di Mare was cooked table side by the owner/head chef. The lobster was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to return.

You feel like you are on vacation in Europe. It's not your typical dining experience. Table side dishes, great cocktails, and wine menu. The no young children policy delayed being able to go and had to reschedule. Mainly outdoor seating, so check the weather.Parking: Parking Garage is one block away.

READ* Me and my girlfriend have a hobbie trying new restaurants in our area. We have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and we’re very disappointed. Our server was just ok forgot our silverware when we got our main dish. But let’s start with the $20 Cesar salad that was just bad. Sad to say Salad and go makes a better salad for $8. My girlfriend ordered the Cacio E' Pepe that was cooked table side which was nice but the flavor was like lighter fluid. No truffle at all and was just bad. We’ve always ordered this specific dish if available and this one was by far the worst. I ordered the lobster pasta which had a lot of lobster but it was over cooked and chewy unfortunately. Needless the say the price is pretty high and the inside is very small. You are better off going to North Italia or Uncle Sals in Scottsdale. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we are big foodies and this was a complete fail.

We were looking forward to a restaurant with excellent food and professional service. Acqua was uneven and over priced. The octopus appetizer was well prepared but expensive. The cachio di pepe was done tableside and was at best luke warm and heavy handed. At $42.00, you must be kidding. The whole Branzino with a side of vegebles made up for the earlier slips.I was disappointed with the overall experience. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dishes. Oh wellAnother restaurant with high goals and disappointing results.

The ambiance was great, however, the food missed the mark a little bit. The pasta was not freshly made and needed more salt to give it that real authentic taste. If you are a dessert person, definitely get the cannoli - these were the best thing on the menu!

Let me start by saying I do not write reviews often if at all, but I had to get this off my chest. When half the items on the menu have MKT for the price, my expectations go very very high.We were a party of 6 on a Wednesday night, and were sat outside. No issue there except a bit crowded (Space). Waited 10 minutes to just get water. Warm water with no ice. Waited another 10 minutes before we were even asked for the drink order. Another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Watched a couple sit down after us and get served drinks before us. We did not have appetizers, so no comment.I will start with my meal. I had the 9 OZ steak Nikola filet, not shown on the menu, and it was extremely well done and dry for $62.00. Good thing it had some dipping sauce to help. My wife had the Tucson Veal Chop and it was OK. Little over cooked but the vegetables were ICE cold as well as the mashed potatoes. My mom and cousin had the Acqua De' Mare which claims to have mussels, shrimp, scallops, and octopus. One dish had 3 mussels, 1 shrimp, no scallops or octopus. The other dish had 2 shrimp, and 3 mussels, 1 scallop and no octopus. They were both very cold. For MKT price. Crazy. My guest had the Cacio E' Pepe and it was very good and the signature dish. Hot because it is made and served table side.Bottom line, we will not be back. For these prices I expect SO much more. I should NEVER have to ask for more water or a set up so I could eat my meal. Maybe an off night for them, but that was ridiculous.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner here last night. We were not able to get reservations but arrived at 4:15 and were able to be seated.First note, Make reservations, this place is very busy, and when you eat here you will know why!Having traveled around Europe, we have had the chance to enjoy some of the best Italian and Mediterranean culinary experiences. From the floor to ceiling mural of Portofino, to the service and most importantly the food, Aqua transports you to a European dining experience that few can match. We decided to share plates so that we could enjoy more of their wonderful flavors. We started with the Greek Salad, which was crisp clean and simple. The feta cheese was slightly disappointing, but overall still a great dish.Next, we tried their oysters which were excellent. The Aqua Di Mare seafood pasta followed, with a change in wine. This is outstanding with homemade pasta and a great selection of perfectly prepared seafood including mussels, shrimp, scallops, fish and baby octopus. For our main course we had the Bronzino! Simply put IT WAS AMAZING. a full fish perfectly served with olive oil, capers, lemon and herbs. On of the best we have ever had! Finally, Brittany, our outstanding guide through the dinner recommended the Tiramisu fir desert. It starts deconstructed and the build it for you at the table. Add the frangelico pour over. This is one of the best deserts we have ever had!All in all a fantastic European dining adventure. Warning, it is not an inexpensive dinner so be prepared to spend, but if you do, you will be very pleased!

I am giving this place 3 stars for the food and the restaurant staff trying to make up for a horrible experience. As we waited for our table, the owner or manager was yelling at his staff about how bad & slow they bussed a table in front of the entire restaurant. He continued to yell at them almost throughout our entire time there, sitting in front of the kitchen was very uncomfortable. I will not support this business solely how the employees were treated and also that the owner allowed his friends or family that were also dining in to yell their drinks orders from their table to the bar. Our meal was comped because of after an hour 1/2 of waiting the server asked what our order was, hence our dinner being on them because they forgot to put our order because of all of the chaos.
