This place deserves 6 out of 5 stars. Where do I even begin? At the time of our arrival, they just opened, it was just us there but then more people came to eat there or simply to pick up their order they placed online.
One of the owner, Sai, was there doing all the hard work, except cooking. He said they have a chef they brought from India who used to work in a 5-stars resort. No wonder the food was the best I have ever had , I mean the best Indian food. We ordered soups , a kebab platter , a chicken special chicken curry and two beers. They ask you your preference on the spice level which is nice. The food came pretty quick and the taste was like so delicious, I cannot explain. The kebab platter had a few tofu pieces as well and although I am not crazy about tofu in general, this was so good and the texture so different than what I had before. I forgot to say that we also ordered some garlic basil naan and cheese kulcha...again - the best I had so far , freshly made there.
Sai was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed, it's definitely a great business practice that many businesses lack this days. I cannot wait to go back ! Definitely give it a try , you'll become addicted. On a side note , it was a very pleasant smell inside due to some sticks they were burning.

Amazing food! We started with the house briyani which was amazing and ideally spiced and topped with fresh cilantro, lime, and onion. The raita was the perfect consistency for dipping or pouring. The butter chicken was creamy and the vindaloo was tangy, with both being delicious but distinctly different in flavor. This is a nice change, as many Indian restaurants we’ve eaten at use a base sauce and most dishes are indistinguishable in taste. Some restaurants have very heavy sauces; not so the case with Briyani Pot. Their sauces offered full flavor without grease , oil, or heaviness. The naan and roti were fresh and piping hot from the oven. Sai, one of the owners, was very friendly. It’s definitely worth the drive if you don’t live in the area. Photos became an afterthought once we dug in and finished everything on the plate.

The briyani is delicious . Also we ate CHICKEN Majestic which is very tasty too. They are not forcing customers to leave after closing time. The atmosphere is nice and they have a very clean restrooms. Try Tandoori chicken, Chicken Majestic.

The food here was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can really feel the hospitality from the moment you walk in. We will definitely be back!

It was our first time in here and absolutely loved the food and service. Staff suggested us with lunch special which was a great deal and the portion size was big. Server was friendly. I would definitely suggest this place.

Very good food! We've been looking for an Indian restaurant since moving out here and we've finally found the best one. Great food and great people!

This place used to be my favorite, but the food for the past 6 months plus has been ok at best, especially the biryanis, most likely they changed the chef that was lot better at authentic Hyd biryani.

The best Indian food in the east valley! We've tried nearly every one in the area and while they're all good, Biryani Pot stands out. We always come back to this welcoming spot and even drive from Queen Creek now that we've moved out of Chandler. The quality and consistency is top notch. Small, locally owned business and the food shows the care that goes into it. Flavors are outstanding, the portions are large and the lunch sampler platters are my favorite way to try new dishes without committing to a full entree. My husband swears it's the best butter chicken he's ever had (and we've had Indian food all over the country) and I've tried numerous veg options, with the Dal being my staple. Malai Kofta is also a favorite!

The owners are also so kind! Overall high quality food for good price. One of our favorite restaurants in the area and I can't say enough about it! If you haven't tried Biryani Pot, this is your sign!

I don’t usually give negative ratings. But I drove 30 mins one side from my place to pick and this is what I got! Tandoori chicken was so dry and tasteless, there is literally no salt or spice - forget about any other flavors. Imagine eating a dry chicken with no flavor or salt! That’s what I meant! The packing also was very loose as it got opened up and spilled all over the cover and my car seat! Chicken biryani was okay and Paneer Biryani was bit flavorful however paneer was just plain.
