What can I say, this was our second time here and the breakfast was great yet again. I had the blueberry granola pancakes which were fluffy and delicious, with a side of scrambled eggs and potatoes, which were not greasy. I did have to send the eggs back to get cooked more but I do like my eggs slightly burnt. They took care of that quickly. It wasn't busy at all on Friday morning so we had no wait.

PASS: No wait time during prime rime brunch hours???
Now I know why..
Food lacked flavor/seasoning. The food looks PHENOMENAL but that's where it stops. I plan on returning to see if it was just a bad day.. Stay tuned for Pt. 2..

This was our first time checking out this spot, and we were surprised by how big and modern the inside was, we were expecting more of a cozy diner vibe.
We tried the Pickle and Fuego Bloody Mary and both were excellent. If you're into pickles, definitely go for the Pickle Bloody, it's super flavorful and hits all the right notes.
As for the food, the Harvest Omelette was decent, but nothing to write home about. The Jay Bird, on the other hand, was really tasty, the gravy especially stood out. The chicken and waffles were just okay. The waffle was fine, but the chicken was dry, which was a letdown.
Service was great, and the atmosphere was really nice. Overall, we had a good time, but the food could use a bit more flavor to match the quality of the drinks and the vibe.

You guys got rid of the avocado toast! That was the reason I would go to BBC. That was actually the best avocado toast I've ever had and nothing comes close!!! Please I'm begging you 🙏 bring it back!!! Yes the other food is good. Biscuits and gravy are great.
Portions were big, but our blueberry/granola pancakes were just ok (and it’s hard to mess up pancakes) and the “crazy burro” burrito had huge pieces that were just rolls of tortilla, just a few black beans inside. Coffee was underwhelming. I wanted to try a more local chain but ended up wishing we had gone to a First Watch.

The gingerbread latte was very good. Cracker barrel had a very long line with a wait time of 45 to 60 minutes. We found a gem, a new favorite. The food was fresh and delicious.

Need to hang early in the morning before visiting a friend so I looked for a sit down breakfast place open early. This place was near where I was so I gave it a shot. My breakfast was very good and the place seemed to fill up right before me so others obliviously knew about the place.

I unfortunately forgot to take pictures. Our 4 some all enjoyed our meals! Great portion sizes. We had a denver omelet, chicken and waffles, pancakes and the copper queen skillet. Everything was delish! Highly recommend!

Went there for breakfast on my husband and I honeymoon! We had an excellent time. Our server Natalie was very attentive and congratulated us on our marriage. The burritos and French toast are to die for, and our drinks remained full. 10/10 recommended if in the Tempe area!

While the service was very good and the menu offered a wide variety of choices, my biscuits and gravy was disappointing. The gravy seemed spicy at first, but in reality was just horribly oversalted. I also expect a breakfast joint to have good hot tea. My tea was served in a glass and despite steeping for 5 minutes, it remained so pale in color that I have to wonder what the heck is in that teabag? A no name label, but really? At $3.99 per bag I needed 2 bags to get even a cream colored tea. So strange! I'll go back to Black Bear Diner, thank you.
