The food is decent and pretty authentic for Turkish food. They can make shwarma's specific to MENA countries like a Saudi Shwarma etc... upon request

A friend of mine and I finally gave this restaurant a try because we had read such nice reviews. At the start, we were both underwhelmed by the atmosphere. The inside decor was reminiscent of a cafeteria, with uncomfortably close tables, menu boards along the wall as you come in, and a lackluster effort in making the place feel inviting in any way. This would be forgivable, if the food was outstanding. I have a particular affinity for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods, and the food here was good, but not great enough to warrant the 15 minute drive from the office to get there. The Coup de grace was the coldness of the lady who I assume was the proprietress of the restaurant. I really wanted to like this place, but I don't imagine I will be coming back. There are much better choices out in the valley.

We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, the gyro plate and grape leaves to start with. Grape leaves were okay, but microwaved. Done where very hot, others luke warm. The chicken "shawarma" was just flat top grilled chicken with some paprika or something sprinkled on. Terrible. The gyro, mediocre at best. And to charge for a pita when you order a "plate", ridiculous. The restaurant also needs MUCH better ventilation. We reeked of cooking oil or what ever when we left. Sorry, really wanted to like a little local place.

This is a small restaurant in a strip center. The decor is simple, not much fluff, but the food was very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed the chicken shawarma, beef kabab and Turkish tea. There's not much ambiance but the food is top notch

Best food ever. I've eaten here a handful of times but always to-go orders but the bar is raised high after dining here. The food is so flavorful. Every bite better than the last, after swimming during summer months I ordered the Greek salad, hummus and kabobs which my 5 year old son and I ate every bite. The lamb is the real deal, the pitas are fantastic and it's a delicious cuisine to try, a must-try. You won't find a dish you won't enjoy.

Simple, fresh, well prepared and a nice presentation. It was quiet when we went in around 2:30 so the staff came around and took our order. We ordered the gyro wrap, hummus plate, and falafel lunch special. Not a crumb was left when we finished. It was really great to have authentic ethnic food. Wish we had time to go back again.

I haven't tried many Turkish restaurants, but this one is my favorite of the three I've tried. My favorite dish is Iskender and the dessert Kunefe is amazing if you love cheese and sugar . Beware that the ambience will have you believe this place is on the cheaper side, but it's actually pretty expensive. I guess that's why it has two $ on Yelp ‍

Really nice surprise. We saw this place and stopped in. Very good service and food. Hummus, falafel, and 'cheese sticks' were awesome. Chicken shawarma and gyro plates extremely tasty. On one we had salad and rice sides. On the other we had salad and fries sides. Tasty hot sauce and salad dressing. Prices reasonable and had a warm conversation with the owner. Highly recommended.

We ate iskender kebab However it was not Turkish kebab. Generally Turkish food are very very delicious but the restaurant can not do Turkish food. I think They only use the Turkish and mediterranean name. In addition the restaurant's food are very bad. Also the restaurant smells very bad. Do not try it :(

I had an absolutely fabulous meal at TurkDish for lunch! Chicken Shawarma, Beef Kofte, Hummus, Pita, Rice, and a salad....all I can say is wow! Stop by and give TurkDish a chance...you won't be disappointed!

TurkDish is as Authentic as you can get maybe even better than in Turkey. This family run restaurant should not be in Chandler it's under valued and hidden from a major Metropolitan city. If this restaurant were in San Diego on any beach area it would be packed day and night round the clock. I've eaten here the past 2 years almost bimonthly and it's worth the trip from anywhere in the Phoenix area. The food is Authentic home styled meals, from the Lentil Soup ( Red Lentil )$4.49 (server hot every time) and worth twice the price and packed with flavors your mouth can really enjoy. Then my favorite meal is Urfa Kebab ( Mild Lamb ) $10.99 always juicy and delicious never over cooked. You really don't want to leave as the food is so good! Don't just take my word for it, try it out.

It was great. I got a kabob mix plate with the spicy eggplant. The quality was great---the meat was cooked perfectly. The rice was amazing, I think they use jasmine rice instead of basmati. The bread was great and the eggplant was delicious. I got mine to go and it was a homerun. Definitely worth trying.

I was referred here by a Turkish friend and I very much enjoyed the food. I had a gyro, chicken burger, and eggplant. All were very good and tasty. The food is somewhat similar to Greek food and this makes sense as the two countries are in close proximity. TurkDish has a convenient location with good service. They do have a large flat screen tv in the restaurant as well. I will be back to test out more dishes.

Had the spicy lamb with salad and rice. She had the gyro dinner. The owner said, he likes to see plates all empty. Will definitely be back.
