I was able to come here twice for a retreat in April and a retreat in August. Both times this place blew it out of the water with their catering and their actual menu.Breakfast day before retreat Aug 2023-the woman here was kind enough to engage in conversation and give me an Americano on the house. It was really sweet.Breakfast both times - lots of variety for vegans, omnivores, and lovers of different kinds of breakfast -love that they had eggs and salsa, bacon, vegan sausage for vegan folks, and cold items like fruits, yogurt, cereal, and milk. I got super creative and had Greek yogurt and honey nut Cheerios, drizzled with honey, and a fruit cup; and a separate serving of bacon eggs, and ketchup. I was definitely full until lunch!Lunch Day 1-again good variety; they ensured vegetarian and gluten free options -tofu, chicken, pork, and salad were nice to haves, as well as brownie desserts and iced teaLunch Day 2 -TACO THURSDAY - great veg and GF options, but as an omnivore this day was my favorite!! -they have a nice mix of chicken, veggies, tamales, tortillas, and salad. All the flavors paired so nicely together. I love their vanilla flan and their filled churros. Dinner Day 2-I didn't exactly buy dinner but I helped my other community members finish what they couldn't. I had fries and a slice of a pizza. The fries were delicious and the pizza was still hot after 20 minutes. Though the pizza wasn't your typical NYC pizza, it was still filling and hit the spot. The workers here are super nice and they always do a good job setting up the place. I can't wait to come back for my next retreat!
