Can't Stop Smokin' BBQ

Great BBQ. All of the meats were tender and juicy. If you are planning on going to Rudy's next door do yourself a favor and come here instead!

Revision: While the food is good we were hugely disappointed that when we ordered a family meal (after deciding what we wanted online) we were charged more for the meat even though the website stated the meat we chose was not an additional fee. I guess we are still on the hunt for a good barbecue spot.

This place is very different than any other BBQ place we saw. I don't know if it is an Arizona thing, but we liked it a lot. They have a huge hot table with 5-6 different meats (brisket, ribs, carnival, turkey) and also a variety of sude dishes. They also have jalapeño cheddar biscuits. Everything we had was great. We tasted brisket and carnitas and both were fantastic, very moist and flavoful. We also had peach cobbler that was great and served warm. We are sad there are no places like this in NY.

food was okay. But the price is decent. You get about a quarter pound per selection. Brisket was dry and cold. Pretty much all the meat was room temperature. Staff seemed annoyed to work there not very happy. This place is not repeat customer quality

Loved the casual picnic southern vibe! We found this BBQ restaurant through Groupon. Fed 5 people and came home with leftovers. Meat selections were great and tasty. The sides were also had many to choosw from and the ones we chose were delicious. The staff was friendly and patient with us as we tried to figure out what 5 people wanted. We would definitely come again. So when you come into Phoenix come visit this surprisingly delicious southern BBQ picnic eatery. Great for family meet-ups and watching the game while having great food at a great price. (We added a full smoked sausage at a reasonable price just to make sure everyone was comfortably fed).

Can’t Stop Smoking BBQ has been our family’s choice for BBQ for years. Whenever we try other BBQ places, we always find ourselves coming back here. The Brisket, Ribs, Turkey, Tri-tip, Beans, and Potatoes are all fantastic. I’m pretty picky about the balance of fat versus lean in the meat, and somehow they get it perfect every single time — consistently delicious and just the way I like it.

We also use them for catering our annual Halloween Pumpkin Party (100+ guests), and they’ve handled it perfectly for last 5 out of the 9 years we’ve hosted. Every year our guests rave about how amazing the BBQ is and always ask where it’s from. The food always arrives hot, on time, and exactly as ordered.

We love both the food and the service — it’s always a pleasure to eat here, and it makes us proud to serve their BBQ at our events.

Best brisket ever! Great baked potato! Great beef ribs! Tons of sides to choose from. This place is so delicious. I make the drive from east Chandler because it's so good. I just ate here and I already can't wait for my next visit.

Was craving brisket, but West Alley BBQ in Chandler isn't open anymore, ☹️😭 tried this place, got it to go, first clue was the brisket was sitting in a water bath, when it was being cut, it looked dry, well, it was very dry.😣 The sauce; spicy BBQ, wasn't very delicious, I also got the jalapeno beans they had a nice heat and were tasty, the baked beans were good as well. Jalapeno corn bread was dry. Overall, very disappointed and it's too far to drive for just beans.

The BBQ wasn’t quite what I was looking for, the brisket didn’t blow me away and neither did the pulled pork. The service was great, and the atmosphere was great.

Placed an order through Doordash. No BBQ sauce was included. Guess they want you to order a bottle for a price. I am from the Deep South. BBQ is not BBQ without sauce (which should be included at no extra price.) Not good business sense. Ribs were tender and juicy. Brisket was tender, but tasted like liquid smoke. The cheese in the mac and cheese tasted like it was powdered. Mashed potatoes tasted fresh and homemade. Gravy was tasteless. I am not from this area. Will not order from this place again when back in the area in a couple of months on my business travels. Guess I will get a response with an excuse like all their other responses to bad reviews.
