I recently visited Chennai Fusion in Chandler, Arizona, with my friends for their buffet. As a vegetarian, I tried all the available options, and while the variety was impressive, the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations.
What I Liked: Chicku Muse, Gulabi Jamun, and Rice Kheer were delicious and stood out in the dessert section and the buffet included a wide range of dishes like Vegetable Biryani, Vijayawada Chicken Biryani, Pani Puri, Cutlets, Noodles, Kebabs, Idly, Dosa, and many more. Finally, Roti & Butter Naan were included in the buffet price.
What Could Be Better: Idly was not good – it lacked softness and Gobi Manchurian was disappointing in flavor, Dose was just okay, nothing special and finally, Garlic Naan had an extra charge of $1, which felt unnecessary for a buffet. Overall, a lots of things neers improvement in comes to taste and service.
My non-vegetarian friends enjoyed the kebabs, but overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for great taste. If you're looking for a quick bite with variety, it's worth a try, but don’t expect an exceptional dining experience.
