ChongQing Chicken Pot

Went for family dinner yesterday (11 Jan). Bosses were friendly. Even though seat capacity is limited but food has a lot of varieties. Comfort food~ the food is nice and we enjoyed ourselves. Food suitable for all ages. :) It was my first time there but my brother and his family has been there before and the owner (John) remember my nieces.

Food portion is enough for us to share and w
e have 5 adults and 2 kids (Age 2.5 and 7) and we ordered 1 vegetable 🍆 dish, 1 chicken dish, 1 noodle dish, 1 miso hotpot and steam buns.

If you are around the area you can go and try and you won't regret it.

Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy the food as well which is the steam buns as well see other customers order for their kid as well.

Food isn't good at all. They used spam for fried rice (what a cheap ingredient to use) and worst of all, the spam tastes sour. Not recommended at all.

I never write reviews, but we were very disappointed with the food and service. We ordered orange chicken, beef chow fun, a hot soup, chicken egg rolls, and steamed dumplings.

•To begin, the food was served at different times - about 20 minutes apart. The steamed dumplings came out when we were done eating, so we asked for those to go. Mind you, we understood that there was likely one cook and didn't complain, but we were the only people there.
•The chicken egg rolls were the only decent dish, but overall the food had next to no flavor.
• Server was sweet, but we weren't attended to much.

Sadly, we won't be coming back and won't be recommending

The atmosphere in the store is great. The boss John is very polite and even cooks private dishes for us. The Chongqing chicken stew is very delicious. It’s worth trying. Recommended👍👍

The boss and staff are very friendly.
The signature chicken pot is delicious and not too salty!
The portion of fried rice is also very generous and quite filling.
It’s a taste I’ve never tasted in Taiwan.
I’ll try the dry pot fish next time!

The dishes that we ordered came out half full on the plate. They are so skimpy with the ingredients. We ordered Singapore rice noodles, vegetables with mushrooms, and Spicy Chicken. Not recommended.

We had Mapo tofu, house fried rice, egg fried rice, fried dumplings, xiao long bao. Everything was amazing and perfectly prepared. This will be a new usual spot for the family and I.
