We found this placed by chance and tried it out during restaurant week. It was absolutely outstanding! Cannot wait to go back!
Matt was the best server we've had in a very long time! Very fun, personable and professional.
I soo wanted this place to be a 5 star - it's a very nice steak house, in south chandler and great service, but 4 stars is probably fair. My wife and I had made a reservation here to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday evening. It was fairly busy, but we could have had a table without a reservation. Service was amazing - i dont recall our servers name, but she was really good. My wife went with the summer 3 course "fixed price" menu. Starter was Heirloom tomatoes & gorgonzola salad, really good. Main was filet - cooked perfectly and great tasting. Dessert was bread pudding and it was also delicious. I opted for a "chef special" Argentine ribeye, really good, but not thr best. Our server also brought us a slice of cheesecake for our anniversary - again, she was the best part of the dinner. Food preparation, portion and flavors were really good but their prices are outrageously high - you can get steaks as good at other steakhouses in the east valley. Biggest disappointment was the dont serve prime rib! How can you be a top there steakhouse and not have prime rib on your menu? Finally, it is a really nice steakhouse in the south part of chandler with a very nice ambiance (kinda dark and romantic), I just wish their prices were more competitive - and they should really add prime rib back on their menu.
This was my first time at the CHoP Chandler and their staff exceeded my expectations. The service was awesome and so kind. We started with the Wagyu Meatballs and loved it. Both entree and wine pairing recommendations were perfect. We ordered the Maui Ribeye (paired with Turley Zinfandel) and the Chilean Sea Bass (paired with La Crema Chardonnay). For dessert we had the bread pudding (even if you don't think you'll like it, just try it, and thank me later). We also took the strawberry cheesecake to go! I highly recommend this spot for a special occasion, date night, or just to treat yourself.
Great meal and wonderful atmosphere. The staff were amazing and very attentive and thorough. We didn't have an empty glass and the used plates were cleared quickly. Will absolutely be back.
This used to be our favorite "go-to" semi-fine-dining restaurant for date night and family celebrations, but it had been awhile since the birth of our granddaughter. We simply hadn't had time to go out much. So, imagine our surprise when we finally had a moment and went this past week and it had changed so much. The menu on their website was not up-to-date with some of the items we ordered regularly no longer available. And the bang-bang shrimp were tough and overcooked. King Charles rib-eye and fries were delish, but avoid the truffle ketchup at all costs! Matt was an exceptional server (as always), but do not order mixed drinks from the bar, they were not made well. If you are looking for a steak place with a bar atmosphere, this can be your new go-to, but we will most likely look for another.
This used to be one of my favorite fine dining restaurants, but the food quality has gone down substantially. I love the server that we've had there several times. He does a great job! Hopefully they can turn it around, because their steaks and desserts used to be amazing.
Always a great experience! The service was spot-on and the meal was delicious. We love Chop!
Hostess was fantastic, bartender polite and friendly. The table server was not as good. We actually had to ask her to take our appetizer and dinner order since we were sitting there for about 25 minutes with our drinks since she never came over and asked if we were ready to order. The restaurant was not that busy. It was a Wednesday night at about 7pm Ambience is nice, noise level is very tolerable the food is good, not excellent but good.
A bit pricey. Food was good. Nice wine selection. Service was friendly but slow. We had to get our waitress attention to order even though she passed by our table multiple times.

The ambience is way too dark. Could barely read the menu. They have a candle on the table but does not help. Our waiter Matthew was great. The drinks and food were delicious. It is quite pricey and if you are looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, this is not it. Cost $$$$
We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday night dinner. I had a filet, which is my go to steak and a baker. Both excellent. My wife had their summer special, shrimp scampi, salad and desert. She loved it all. The heirloom tomato, gorgonzola cheese salad was to die for. Bread pudding was very unconventional but delicious. I'm glad she shared. We will be going back.
I think this place means well. It is nicely appointed and the menu sounded delicious. In practice however things were just ok. Which would be fine at a normal price point but is moderately obscene for what we paid for dinner for 3 with one drink each. The oysters were bland and not well-shucked. The BLT salad was good but hard to cut with the butter knife we had. Our mother enjoyed her burger but contrary to the sign over the door it was a special order not even on the menu. Steaks were EXPENSIVE and not worth the price. Service was nice but not very attentive. Even walking in the door we waited several minutes before even being acknowledged which seems wrong in a mostly empty restaurant. We wanted to try it and did but won't likely be back.
I went here for the first time for a birthday dinner with my friends. We love steakhouses and this blew our expectations away. Noey, our server, was THE BEST. She was extremely knowledgeable and never forgot about us. Super nice and patient. Her service really magnified the overall food experience. She is the GOAT.
I had originally reserved a high top table for a large group. They were kind enough to move us to tables when the group next to us started getting a little rowdy. The service was excellent, refills were plentiful and timely, and they had THE BEST bread pudding I've ever had. It was an overall excellent experience.
