They now have “GOOD EARTH TEA.” They had a Chain of stores back in the late 1970’s that had the BEST ROLLS, BURRITOS, AND BREAKFAST STEAK, AND TEA !! ~ IN MY MIND, IT’S THE BEST TEA IN THE WORLD !!

I passed this place a few times before I finally made a stop one day. Civic Market is located in downtown Chandler behind City Hall near the library and the courthouse. You can't miss their sign and they are conveniently located across the street from a parking garage. Civic Market is a working space with a coffee shop, kitchen, a small retail store, and beauty salons. They have an outdoor patio and courtyard that they share with QuartHaus. The courtyard has a number of patio games like basketball and cornhole. The coffee and juice bar has drinks and grab-and-go food. What sold me on this place was the spacious areas to dine or network at. The atmosphere is pretty mellow. Speaking of food, the kitchen area has a variety of menu options like wood-fired pizzas, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. The wood-fired pizzas are pretty tasty! If you are hanging in the courtyard, you can order food from their walk-up window. So far my favorite evenings to come here are on Mondays nights when pizzas are only $8. Civic Market has been a great little discovery for me. I love places that I can spend long evenings on my computer or getting lost in a book while eating good food.

I had high hopes for the Civic Market. I am giving it 3 stars because the atmosphere was delightful. The food however was subpar and they did not have several items on the menu. The Bacon breakfast burrito had watery eggs and the snickers mocha was nothing special. I am very disappointed with the food however the atmosphere makes up for it. I would recommend it solely for the atmospher.

The pizza here was decent...pretty burnt and pretty pricey. With how pricey their pizza is I was expecting a lot more. I can't say I'd be super thrilled to try their pizza again for the price point. If i wanted to spend that much I'd rather go to san tan or craft 64 instead. Both within walking distance. The only thing that's nice is that if you are quart Haus you can order your food and head over to get some beer and they will bring the food to you so basically you're paying for that "convenience". But in all honesty I could just order pizza to go at the other places and just bring it with me to quart haus as well. Since money doesn't grow on trees and I am currently a stay at home mom I really have to watch our pennies wisely. So maybe I'll give them a shot for something else on their menu like he kombucha or light snack but I'd stay away from the pizza.

Want close to Peixoto quality coffee without the cramped space and crowds? Look now further than Civic Market. While I do feel as though I am on a set for an Instagram photo shoot, I am able to get a quality cup of coffee without feeling suffocated. Great place to sit as long as they aren't selling boutique Ann Taylor or whatever is at the front of the store.

Coolest little coffee shop/study place. Their breakfast is good as well as their tea and espresso. I love this place and I'm glad it's right down the street. All of the employees are so nice and the place is clean and modern. They have games to play inside and out, and a nice outdoor area too!

Went in to check out there Pizza based on a few good reviews I saw. We ordered a chicken pesto pizza and while we waited the staff wAs friendly gave our dog some treats. Got home and are the pizza it was absolutely fantastic. This is definitely going to be a go to spot for me now. Compliments to the chef he was awesome.
Hip & chic new multi-purpose/hang out spot in downtown Chandler. Amazing drinks, food and ambience. Right next to Quarthaus if you need drinks! Dont forget the vegan pastries!

The food was a bit overpriced and wasn't as good as I thought it'd be for the price. The brownie was a small size and cost more than it should have. Other than that, everything else about this location is great. The staff are very nice and friendly and the wifi service is great. There is plenty of room for seating and relaxing with friends or working. I think it's a great place to go study or hangout and make new connections with people.

This place is a treasure in Downtown Chandler. If you looking a place that welcoming from the cashier until kitchen team, this is the one. My 1st visit with my friend that have severe gluten allergy, they really work their best to provide it and make sure it safe by cleaning the pizza baking space from all other flour. They make sure my friend is ok during our stay there. I can feel this is a small business that taking care their customers. I can felt their intention to provide the best. It's not only about serving food, it's about building trust toward their customers. This is the kind of small business that I love to support!
