Coffee Rush is my favorite personal retreat — pun intended. All of the staff are cheerful and very helpful and part of why I’ve been going back for years. I love their frosts and chillers, and can’t recommend them enough. The Italian soda is great too, especially the Deadly soda. The lake is lovely and the place is especially cozy during the Christmas season, but the indoor and outdoor areas could be cleaner.
Parking: 2 parking spots for express take-out. The cafe is in the very corner of a strip mall and usually only has a few open spots at a time, if any, besides express parking.
Kid-friendliness: The outdoor patio is *not* smoke-free. Otherwise, the place is fine.

I couldn’t agree with the way of the owner managing this business. And feel sorry for the good employees who works here.

Only thing these "baristas" can make is a yappuccino. The line at the DMV moves faster than this circus. If you want a real coffee experience go down the street to Peixoto.
I have been to 2 locations and they both are old, run down and neither felt clean. They are outdated and about 1 million signs telling you not to bring any food-drink from the
Outside into place. I walked in with a coffee in my hand from somewhere else because I was getting my friend a drink from this place to go. They insisted on telling me I couldn’t have my drink in there even though I was just buying a drink for someone else and we were going to be leaving. I understand that it is a business and you want to sell your product but they go overboard with constantly asking people to leave who have drinks from other places and they have too many signs up. It’s not a very friendly or welcoming environment. I will probably never go back.

Three of us went out to lunch today. Two of us got Mr. Pickles. My two friends then went to Coffee Rush to get a drink. I sat outside because it was a beautiful day. There were probably 10 empty tables. There are signs outside on the patio that say no outside food or drink. I figured since my friends were patronizing Coffee Rush, we could sit and enjoy our lunch. So I started eating and a male employee came out and said, didn’t you see the signs? I said yes, but my two friends are buying drinks. He suggested I go put my lunch in the car and then I could sit with them. So my two friends came out and I said we can’t eat our food here even through you just made a purchase.

Nice spot and friendly staff but Wifi is too slow to get work done. I averaged less than 0.5 Mbps while here.

Unfortunately, a lot of negative reviews here are correct. The employees are unwelcoming and have a lot of aggressive signage regarding tables and purchasing a drink. Of course, we are there to purchase a drink. But, some people cannot stand in line due to a disability. I like the Coffee Rush in other locations but this place is uniquely bad. I won’t be going back.

I really wanted to love this place, but I just couldn’t! I rarely ever leave negative reviews anywhere, but I’m really disappointed with my visit here.
We had a group of friends meeting there, and not everyone had ordered yet because there was a line. Some of us were waiting for it to die down a bit so we weren’t standing for a long time. An employee basically told us if we didn’t all order we shouldn’t be there, and how it wasn’t fair to the other customers that we were taking up space. We had only been there about 15 minutes! We were sitting indoors and there were plenty of other tables open.
We were all going to order of course, we were just waiting on a couple more people to come and also for the line to shrink. It felt like they were rushing us. We meet up at different coffee shops often, and most shops are happy to have a big group bring them business. It seemed like Coffee Rush was just waiting for us to leave.
Not only that, but the coffee was not great. It lacked much flavor, even in a mocha, and it wasn’t hot.
We eventually moved ourselves to the outside patio which was really nice. The backdrop of the lake was gorgeous. I’m sad that our experience inside wasn’t as great though :(

Even though I am no longer local I try to come by if I'm in town. Have spent countless hours over the years (since fall of 2005) hanging out reading. I sure miss getting mint mocha Rush frosts. Have great memories of going in the morning when either Yanni or Joe B. opened or on occasion Moe. Missing seeing other fellow regular Darren and will always remember the other morning regular customer, Bill. Coffee Rush isn't just a coffee shop. It's a vibe.

Don’t go here if you want good coffee. Ordered two Braves, one large and one small, the large was mediocre at best( The roast tasted burnt to me, but to each their own). The small was scalded and completely undrinkable. The staff was nice enough initially. When I went to let them know that the small breve was dangerously hot, the barista who made it for me said that it was the same as the other one, and did not acknowledge the truth at all not hiding the fact that she found me obnoxious and thought that I was being a high high maintenance pain, I was being very polite about it, Informing me that they use a thermometer. Having been a barista for years in the past, I am relatively forgiving, as well as aware of what is real and what is bullshit. It was ridiculous, It seems like their location is the best thing they have going for them although they do seem to have a nice sense of community, the hot tea I ordered also had an odd taste to it water wise, I feel their filtration system could be better, Didn’t taste like pure water.
Essentially, if you just wanna go to a café to sit and talk to somebody or possibly use their Internet, which I didn’t try it’s as good as any other hole in the wall as long as you have zero expectation of quality. The rest of their coffee and consistency of their drinks were very disappointing to me And the one barista his ego was too big to even offered to correct the very extreme service issue put a bad taste in my mouth on top of it all. The gal who rang me up at the register was perfectly nice as was the gentleman assisting them when I ordered in the first place.

Absolutely HORRIBLE attitudes. Bald guy and guy with shoulder length hair have the worst attitudes and make me so incredibly uncomfortable that I decided not to go anymore and really they could care less if they lose Business. They give you wrong information about what’s in their drinks. They don’t care if you have high blood pressure they won’t tell you that the chiller mix already has coffee in it so then that causes you to pay extra to have espresso put in ( which I only asked for half a shot) only to find out later that the chiller mix does have coffee in it already And I have to watch my blood pressure so putting extra espresso in a coffee drink that already has coffee mix in It is not a good idea for me! When I tried to talk to the bald guy about it, and I was very nice about it, he was extremely rude to me and put off by me even saying anything. Then, as I was leaving when I was in my car, he was talking to some other guy about it and they were both looking over at me and laughing Just for me saying anything at all even though I said it nicely and didn’t make a big huge scene or a big huge ruckus over it. These people are absolutely horrible. I also had a bad experience with the guy at another location as well just a horrible, horrible attitude, saying hi and being really nice to certain people and then extremely rude to other people for no reason whatsoever and it was my first time there These guys have Issues.

We’ve been to Coffee Rush several times now since we live close by. Atmosphere is great and service is almost immediate to get your order and drink(s). We like their variety of coffee options and snacks. Is a nice place to work and their patio overlooking the water is a nice addition too.

Honestly laughing as I write this review about how bad the customer service is here. The employees have zero chill when it comes to their customers wanting to purchase other goods from their neighbors. I had purchased a fruit bowl and went to sit on their patio planning on purchasing a coffee after I finished my bowl. I had 3 employees come up to me and power team me out of my spot on the patio as I was finishing up my bowl (still planning on purchasing a drink) until they gave me the rudest gestures. I’ve been here before many times and have enjoyed sitting on the patio, but you guys just lost yourselves a consistent customer.
As a business owner myself, you need to learn to chill out and train your employees to treat your customers better. Have patience.
Edit: after owner responded, I failed to mention that half the tables were open. Nobody was waiting in a line.
