We've been longtime fans of the owners' Quiches and Pies restaurant in Chandler, so we were excited to finally try Cuisine & Wine Bistro. We were greeted promptly and seated right away, though we were placed directly next to a table of six despite the restaurant not being very full, which surprised us a bit. I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, but it didn't appear to be acknowledged — not a big deal, just an observation. Service was a little slow to initiate. We eventually waved down the bartender to place our drink order, though once ordered, the wine arrived very quickly. We also needed to flag someone again to order food. The food itself was excellent — we both ordered the filet with sides of potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and every bite was delicious and beautifully prepared. Toward the end, we again had to get someone's attention to request the check, and there was no mention of dessert or coffee. We did notice the larger table next to us seemed to receive much more attentive service, perhaps because they were doing a tasting or special menu of some kind — we weren't sure. Overall, we truly wanted to love this restaurant, and the food was outstanding. The service just felt a bit inattentive for a quiet evening, especially for a special occasion. We're undecided if we'll return, but we hope our experience was simply an off night.

Friendly service topped with excellent food! Tried new things and enjoyed everything. Took the wife for her birthday and was very pleased!

I was really looking forward to the Filet de Canard. I was disappointed. I have grown accustom to duck served medium-rare. NEVER medium-well as this was served. The best part was the black cherry confit. I had been told about the Duck Jus Potatoes (chips) as the side so I substituted the Brie & Carmalized Onion Potato Gratin. I received chips with the canard; the gratin coming later and only warm not hot. Server was friendly but very busy. Drinks from the bar took a while to get and longer to refill. As it was, the bar tender was also having to wait tables since ours was the only other server. Learned later the Sous was in charge and Chef was not present. Perhaps there were other problems in the back of the house. The front of the house was taxed. Had the Canard been medium-rare, issues during the rest of the evening may have gone unnoticed. I will definitely return just to see if the dining can be as good as it reads.

The food was excellent, as always, and we truly appreciate the consistent quality of the cuisine. However, a few aspects of our recent visit were disappointing and could be easily improved. We were provided with menus that appeared dirty, which detracted from the overall experience. This could likely be remedied by printing new menus on cardstock in-house. Additionally, the wine list, presented in a loose-leaf binder, had pages that were coming loose. Despite having a reservation and being frequent guests, we were initially offered a table in the middle of the dining area while several more suitable tables were available. It would also be appreciated to see an expanded selection of seafood and vegetarian offerings on the menu. While these may seem like minor details, they contribute significantly to the overall impression and guest experience.

Fantastic as always! Shared the Beef Wellington for the first time. It was great! Don't know why it took us so long to try it, we have been regular customers for all nine years you have been open. We will be back again in mid-November with guests from Florida. We are looking forward to showing you off to them.

We went for restaurant week and the service and food were excellent. Sarah was our server and she was very professional and kind. She was very helpful without being overbearing. The food is a little pricey but excellent.

I went to this restaurant during AZ Restaurant Week. The service was very good, while the food was good, it wasn't the best I've had. I ordered the Aubergine salad and the server made a point of telling me that the eggplant wasn't oily and it was actually oily which wasn't a deal killer, the salad was still good. An interesting mix, I've never seen before. The short rib entree didn't need the knife that they brought me, it was so tender, but about 3/4 of the way through I was faced with an unappealing chunk of fat. The dessert was quite good. Overall I think while the food was good, it was overpriced.

C&W Bistro will always be our local favorite. The food is extraordinary and the wine and cocktails are fantastic.

Best French cuisine in the Valley. And Killian's and Francsico's drinks and personalities make the place great!

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Food and wine was top quality and the staff couldn’t make you feel more welcome! So desirable to have fresh food that so surpasses the every day chain food restaurants. As a European living in the US, Chandler, you are lucky to have this restaurant, can’t recommend it enough 🤩

Lovely setting for our anniversary dinner. Our Server was wonderful and the timing of the food coming out was truly perfect. The food was good with some items being excellent but a few fell short of expectations. Being frequent visitors to France, and with our last trip only a few months ago, we expected a bit better especially at those prices. The Billet special was perfect. Almost crispy exterior with perfectly medium rare interior. The tartar was very good even though it was not served as slices but as more of a mixture with sauce. The frog legs and Wagyu burger were good but nothing special. Unfortunately, the duck was a bit overcooked and surprisingly served as two "slabs" of duck breast instead of slices as we have normally experienced. Good flavor, just a bit overcooked. Dessert tart special was excellent. Definitely a great place to celebrate an anniversary, but for the prices, I expected a bit better and more like what I experience in France for less than half those prices.
