I was already anticipating something special from what is been told about Elmer's! So when we walked in at night, for a late dinner about 8 pm. It was bright and clean, and it smelled wonderful! The service was excellent, kind thoughtful, and we were given a generous portion of chips, salsa, and cheese as appetizer while we waited for our food.
They brought our food to where we were sitting, and it was so delightful! All such fresh components, lettuce crisp, and such delicious tortillas that they make from scratch (and sell there!) enveloped the carne asada, and beef, and chicken in our flautas, tacos, and burritos!
Complex flavors in the main dishes we had just mesmerized my boyfriend and I!! We will be going back again!
I suggest that everyone needs to try this place out!!
Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, with smallish spaces, for lunch crowd, but the trash of the home the parking looks like if filled would be more than he building can hold. It's a great size for the size of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu with kid friendly finger foods, lots of room if kids get wiggly then can move around, within reason, to move around between tables.
Wheelchair accessibility: The double doors opened wide and both sides opened at once! The floor was flat, clean, and without and damage that would impede a wheelchair. Most of the tables were the height for a wheel chair and there was plenty of room between them.
I really like their fried tacos with lots of oil. The other tacos are pretty mediocre in comparison. Could use more seating as well.

The large red chili burrito is so so good and the chips with cheese as an appetizer was perfect. It's shredded but not melted, warm chip and tasty salsa was money. Check this one out if you're in chandler.
This is the spot in Chandler. If you go to Chandler, Az,you MUST stop here. There are soooo many great things on the menu. 1st, you need strips, then grab a nean and cheese with sauce. Or some street tacos, tostada, carne asada burro, the list goes on and on. You also need sauce for everything it enhances and brings all flavors together. Again, Elmer's is a MUST try when in Chandler. Make sure you post after you've tried it out. Enjoy

Excellent service! We ordered a Chile relleno, but they were out, so we ordered an extra enchilada and she gave us a desert (sopapilla/frybread) to make up for it. One drawback is that they don't melt the cheese, which I would prefer. Everything tasted delicious, so I will go again even with un-melted cheese.

Unfortunately, we were so disappointed with our food. (We got chips and cheese, taquitos, chimichangas and cokes). The food was tasteless and the meat was very greasy. The only aspect that we really appreciated from our stay was the amazing service. Sadly, we will not be returning.
