We sat out on the patio with our 3 boys and little frenchie and had dinner after the river and it was lovely !! The food was hot and delicious!! The patio setting was kid/pup friendly love this vibe!!
Great food for a great price. Highly recommended!!!
Omg.......amazing food. Been trying to find a good Mexican restaurant for a long time. This is it. I'll be back.....repeatedly.
This place right here!!. This will be your last stop for Mexican food here in Chandler because it's definitely the best in the area.
After moving here from SoCal where I had my local favorites from growing up, this place is right up there. Nothing compares, especially those big places like sumburros where I never seen a Hispanic person eating there or Nando's. The food here taste delicious, has seasoning. Can taste the green chili, red chili, and the enchiladas! They asked if I wanted a taco too and got chicken. IT WASN'T DRIED OUT. It was fresh, and tender.
The green chili burrito was phenomenal. The tortilla was great, the sauce was excellent and the meat was awesome. Wasn't a dried out flavorless burrito, didn't have weird chunks of fat, bone, or chewy nonsense. Just straight up shredded meat and the sauce. I added beans to my burrito and the beans had flavor.
I can't believe I finally found a spot for Mexican food that's actually good. Don't forget to grab your salsas in the bowl on the counter.
I tried countless places here in town, Los favritos with it's TOUGH small CHUNKY HARD pieces of meat in their Chile Verde Burritos, sumburros with their dried out lake bottom residue Burritos. And many others. Espo's is by far the most tasteful, flavorful, and best here in town.
It's a little place so try not to drive past it as its kind of hidden but oh is it a gem. I'm glad we have a good place to eat here now. Thank you. The cook is doing a great job back there too! Woo.
Best Mexican food around! My family has been coming here since the early 80's or maybe before that! Leon the owner is amazing and always focuses and customer service and quality!
Location is cute, food was super good and had great variety, and the prices are pretty dang good too, the full meal/plates are around $11.50, which is great compared to other places. The only downside is there is an additional fee for paying with a card, so pay with cash if you can.
Their food is served in a tinfoil plate, so you can easily take it home and eat it later if you want.
The food was tasty. My pallet was definitely satiated by the flavor of the beans and rice. The habanero sauce was spicy and complimented the flavors of my tacos asadas. The staff was attentive and friendly. Bathrooms are really well kept. The patio is amazing as well. Misters outside to help you beat the heat. Overall, this place was amazing. I do plan on returning.
I came here with my husband and honestly don't have complaints about it, but being charged to use our debit card and then paying extra for chips and salsa on top of our two entrees I was a little irritated. My chimi was pretty good but I have have had much better and bigger portion elsewhere for the same price. Husband said his green chile burro was okay, not bad but not super great. Honestly it's not a place I'd come back and spend money at for lunch when I compare it to other places.

This place used to be good and affordable. My last visit was horribly over priced, $19 for a chimichanga. It was covered with disgusting olives, and it didn't even come with guacamole. I brought this to the staff's attention, but they refused to rectify the situation. The chimichanga ended up tasting mediocre. The refried beans were more like a flavorless bean soup, and the rice tasted like it came from a box. I couldn't eat it. This "Mexican food" has less seasoning than your Midwestern aunts casseroles. On top of this, I was charged a non-disclosed "tech fee". This is just bad business, have the decency to be transparent about your obnoxious pricing. I used to visit all the time but this will be my last. Salt the beans man!

Tacos = 7/10. The tacos are good, but theres just many better places in AZ. The higher prices doesn't help as well.

A hole in the wall restuarant, food is respectable, inexpensive. We sat outside in December, the heat lamps made it comfortable temperature-wise. Parking is limited but side street parking spots are available.
