The server we had was fairly rude. The food is incredibly sub standard - the brisket was dry, portions were way smaller than they were years ago, and overall it was a clear indication that we should not dine here in the near future. It used to be great. Not anymore.

Roxanne was very professional and knew exactly what to order for our Friends-Giving holiday party on November 15th. I had hip surgery in June and she was very attentive and did all the set up, refilling stations, and clean up! I’m very grateful for all of her hard work and being so personable to my guests! I’m looking forward to working together again soon!

Our group of veterans visits Famous Dave's every year for our annual Veteran's Day get-together, and we were looking forward to another great experience. While we always appreciate businesses that honor veterans with special offers, this year's visit left us feeling disappointed. Our server was pleasant but noticeably slow with the drink orders, which made the meal drag on longer than expected. The Veteran's Day special included a pulled pork (or chopped chicken) sandwich with one side — a nice gesture — but the portion of pork on the sandwiches was surprisingly small, almost laughable for a restaurant known for barbecue. We understand the meal was complimentary for veterans, and we truly appreciate that gesture. However, the quality and experience didn't reflect the Famous Dave's standard we've come to expect. Our group left a generous $200 tip for our waitress to thank her for her effort, but unfortunately, we're now considering moving our annual Veteran's Day gathering to another venue next year. We hope Famous Dave's will take this feedback to heart and ensure future Veteran's Day guests — and all guests — receive the level of service and portions the restaurant is known for.

The wife and I came here for dinner, my first time coming. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this place. I was not impressed with the brisket, warm and chewy. The baked beans was not what I expected. The ribs were so so. The wedge fries were nice. The onion strings were great. The roasted chicken was not all that good, it had a weird taste to it. The cole.slaw and sweet tea were amazing. The pecan pie was really good. The wife says the banana pudding was good. The BBQ sauces were nice. I was just disappointed by the brisket, ribs and chicken. Being a meat man and I love BBQ, I was just a little disappointed. The food did not meet the hype that everyone has given. Again this is just my opinion.
