Service? Fantastic. Very friendly, we were shooting the shit and just chatting while they made my food.

The food itself? Nope. Not doing that again. The wife had the french dip and I had a build your own, and the quality was absolutely atrocious compared to a year ago when I last had this particular firehouse. Maybe a supplier change but just go to another sandwich shop if you value your taste buds, because we were really let down by the quality of the food. It tasted incredibly bland, the au jus had no taste at all, and the bread was REALLY hard. The meats tasted almost sour. Of course we got it late and by the time we got home they were about to close, and the guys were really cool I wasn't gonna make them clean the machines again just to remake our food.

Went in to the 2100 S Gilbert Rd,Suite 11, Chandler, AZ 85286 for a sandwich on 1/20/2025 at 10:45 am. The tv was on some political show very loud, and I requested the channel to be changed to a football game instead. The manager on duty was a very large woman with black hair.
When the employees asked if the channel to be changed, a young man came out and said yes, and began changing the channel.

The large woman then told me very rudely and to my face to “Watch the other tv, watch the movie instead.” This other tv was, indeed, on a movie that was muted. I don’t see how I would be able to watch a muted movie when I wanted to watch a football game anyways.

I had to request again for the channel to be changed and the young man said yes and changed it.

The large woman then said “oh god” very loudly after I asked the 2nd time and the channel was changed.

I don’t think the employees should be so rude to its customers, or play political opinion shows so loudly, or push back on simple requests to change the tv.

This is customer service 101 that this company failed at and I will not be coming back to any firehouse sub shops again.

I will also be posting my experience with the address to this location on my social media accounts so that other customers won’t be subjected to the rudeness from this store.

I have loved Firehouse Subs for many years. However, my last two visits to the Gilbert Rd and Germann location have been beyond disappointing. Lunch a couple weeks ago was dry with very little meat, but I decided to give them one more try, so I ordered two subs online last night. I arrived at the time the order was promised, yet was told they were working on my order. There was only one table with three customers. The three employees, a lady and two young men, were standing behind the counter chatting. Many tables were very dirty and the floor was FILTHY. Once I finally got the sandwiches home, I discovered that my NY Steamer had very little meat and cheese and a touch of mayo and mustard. No lettuce, tomato, onion, etc, yet the only item I requested to be left off was dressing. My husband's Hook and Ladder was ok. I did not call because the damage was done and I didn't want to wait yet again for a new sandwich. I am so disappointed. With all the hundreds of choices for GOOD sub sandwiches around, I will not be back.

We just came back from picking up our mobile order. It wasn't just all wrong but all totally wrong! Couldn't get anymore wrong. My son ordered an Italian sub and got a turkey. I got a customized cold veggie with extra cheese and I got a toasted bun with green peppers (yuck!), tomatoes, lettuce. That's it! Not a morsel of any cheese. I'm actually speechless! It couldn't be more wrong. We knew the price was half off today and it was busy, but we didnt know the service was going to be half off too!
