I’ve never had this bad of a Firehouse Sub… idk what the workers did but it tasted nothing like they’re supposed to… first time I’ve ever hated a Hook & Ladder, how can you even mess a sandwich up this bad? Never coming back to this location.
Food was great . I ordered a sandwich that is not on the regular menu, so it confused the staff... eventually they figured it out .
Tony and crew were very nice even though they were busy with a large order, and they were fast!
Couldn’t even fill my Mac n cheese up all the way and the sandwich was very sloppy. Crazy how hard a high school job is for these little ass kids to understand.
Great food, amazing customer service
Placed a pickup order for 11am to be ready after I had finished getting a haircut. I realized at 10:30 that I would be late and did not want my food to sit and get cold, so I called… and called… and called again, and nobody answered the phone so that I could change my pickup time.
I arrive at the store around 11:20 and explain the situation and ask politely for them to be remade. I am immediately met with hostility by the little old lady working there, with her opening the sandwich box and asking, “does that look soggy to you”, in an incredibly rude tone. I say that I tried to call and change the pickup time and that nobody answered all 5 times I called. She walks off with the sandwiches and loudly says “I guess we just lost 20 dollars.”
As I’m waiting for the remake, the manager or owner, Antonio, comes out and says that the sandwiches will not be remade because I was late, and even accused me of lying when I told him about the non-working phones. The little old lady chimed in and said “people like you are the reason we lose money.” I finally showed them the call log on my phone, proving I indeed called 5 times from 10:20-10:30, but, lo and behold, the ringers were off. Convenient.
All this to say that I have never been talked to by staff of a restaurant this way, and I urge people to not come to this location of Firehouse, they have 2.5 stars on Yelp and Apple for a reason.

Service? Fantastic. Very friendly, we were shooting the shit and just chatting while they made my food.
The food itself? Nope. Not doing that again. The wife had the french dip and I had a build your own, and the quality was absolutely atrocious compared to a year ago when I last had this particular firehouse. Maybe a supplier change but just go to another sandwich shop if you value your taste buds, because we were really let down by the quality of the food. It tasted incredibly bland, the au jus had no taste at all, and the bread was REALLY hard. The meats tasted almost sour. Of course we got it late and by the time we got home they were about to close, and the guys were really cool I wasn't gonna make them clean the machines again just to remake our food.

Went in to the 2100 S Gilbert Rd,Suite 11, Chandler, AZ 85286 for a sandwich on 1/20/2025 at 10:45 am. The tv was on some political show very loud, and I requested the channel to be changed to a football game instead. The manager on duty was a very large woman with black hair.
When the employees asked if the channel to be changed, a young man came out and said yes, and began changing the channel.
The large woman then told me very rudely and to my face to “Watch the other tv, watch the movie instead.” This other tv was, indeed, on a movie that was muted. I don’t see how I would be able to watch a muted movie when I wanted to watch a football game anyways.
I had to request again for the channel to be changed and the young man said yes and changed it.
The large woman then said “oh god” very loudly after I asked the 2nd time and the channel was changed.
I don’t think the employees should be so rude to its customers, or play political opinion shows so loudly, or push back on simple requests to change the tv.
This is customer service 101 that this company failed at and I will not be coming back to any firehouse sub shops again.
I will also be posting my experience with the address to this location on my social media accounts so that other customers won’t be subjected to the rudeness from this store.
The team here is kind and professional! Shout-out to them for getting me a large order so fast.
