We ordered the premium dinner which is their highest plan. When we went to order more beef tongue, which was the reason we were there for, the server told us it was limited to 1 per person. We believed him until we saw the menu after we left. We didn’t get to eat what we wanted because the server gave us the wrong information. It is no wonder the place was dead on a Saturday night. If management is listening, the staff needs better training. You’ve lost a customer.

My family & I were visiting from Washington— we love all the Gen locations in WA so of course we had high hopes for this one. 1. It tooked about 8-10 mins before being acknowledged when we walked in. 2. The sides did not taste fresh at all. Cabbage & cucumber kimchi tasted old. 3. Unfortunately, the service was horrible too. We ordered two meats & two appetizers first. The first two meats came out and was all gone before the appetizers came out and we waited about 15mins before we could order a second round. By the time we ordered the second round, which also took another 15mins, we received it and still without the appetizers. Again, our meats were done before we were even served again. By the time the appetizers came out (Korean fried chicken + pork gyozas) they weren’t even hot. Not even warm— literally room temperature as if it were sitting out for a very long time. The beef short ribs & brisket, did not taste fresh. Overall, nothing tasted fresh, there was a long wait time (wasn’t even crowded) and food came out cold.
I can’t say this about any other Gen kbbq locations but this specific location was the worst experience by far.

The atmosphere was AMAZING! Had a great experience with the manger Fabian. Very Friendly, made sure we were taken care of.. the only complain I have is they didn't have a lot of the food items we ordered. They were pretty much out of everything we really wanted to try, And for the price we paid I wish we enjoyed the food. The Drinks were not that good, and also were out of a lot of drink options. good experience but don't think we'll be going back.

I’m glad that my first time here didn’t go too bad but thankfully it was decent. It wasn’t the best but I did enjoy my experience. When I first came in, nobody greeted me at the register and I got a couple stares from them until I was standing for a good while. The man In the blue suit served me.
My server was great communication wise but the downside was that I agree with the other posters here that they forget about your items. Thankfully I was in no rush but I did see the receipt at the end and saw that my orders were put in but never received. She had to come back and asked me “are you waiting on something” after I’ve mentioned like 3 times of my order but it’s fine.
The sides and the corn cheese were mediocre…. It was served cold and I had to put it on the grill. I’m used to it being cooked and served on a skillet. At first, I thought it was me that had a stomach ache but turns out my son had it too… I made sure I cooked my food more than well done to avoid this issue. Maybe I was just served low quality / not fresh meat.
I would only come back once a blue moon because my server was friendly .

Party of 6, 4:30pm arrival was perfect. Spent 3 hours having dinner. This place gets packed as the night goes on! We upgraded to the Premium. If 1 person gets it, everyone at the table has to as well. Also, there's a $5 fee for every plate of leftovers that you don't cook and finish (something like that. I didn't see that posted anywhere when I was researching) we focused on the Wagyu, Ribeye, Hawaiian Steak, Cajun Shrimp, and Short Ribs. Kimchi was amazing, too!! I highly recommend it, and we'll be back!!

My husband and I have come here twice now and have had a good experience both times. I do want to say we opted for the premium option and in my opinion do not think it was worth $20 extra each. Our server was very attentive and made our night pleasant. Yes the portions are smaller, but it’s all you can eat so I understand they’re trying to minimize on waste to make sure people actually finish the food that they order. I recommend trying them out!

This restaurant has an amazing ambiance. The food was great! The server was very helpful and knowledgeable, although I do feel as though his up selling techniques came off a little judgemental towards the cheaper option rather than it just being another option. I will admit we came in a little late (we left a hefty tip), but with that being said, it was very quiet and dull. I feel as though the energy used throughout the day time should be upheld until the last call... Overall I rate my experience a 4/5, I do believe going in the day time may end up making it a 5/5 ! I look forward to giving it a second try !

Our dinner at Gen with our server Kaizen was wonderful! Get the premium add on and order the premium marbling center cut marinated short rib! So delicious. Kaiser was the best, attentive server. Fantastic service! Give him a raise Gen!

This Korean BBQ place was great! We were seated very quickly and had food in front of us within a couple minutes. The server was great at answering our questions and taking our order. The food was incredible! Everything we had tasted great and cooked fairly quickly. If you are celebrating a birthday be sure to ask for the staff to sing you a song…you won’t regret it.
