I would have given 5 stars but I felt misled at menu prices. I know the menus on Google aren't recent so I checked their website. I thought ok this is reasonable prices so I opted to go here instead of acye BBQ. When I sat down however it turns out that majority of entrees were $4-5 more than their website which disappointed me because my son wanted Korean BBQ buffet and this pretty much ended up being the same price. There's better food and cooked by chefs vs yourself so it warrants a decent price however I don't like being surprised. The decor is nice and you can tell it's a mom and pop shop. The manager or owner was kind in comping our soup because it was way too salty and gave us complimentary cider and apologized. I didn't want to make a big deal and didn't tell him about saltiness until he asked. So it was nice he made things right. Overall the food was good.. the galbi was seasoned right but half the portions I was expecting. I just had some at a Vietnamese restaurant the day before for more than half the price for that portion. It would be nice if the banchan included jap chae like other Korean restaurants..overall food solid. Price could be more competitive but most importantly update it on the Website..im posting pictures for others to know current prices. Also my daughter ordered crispy chicken but it's way too hard and you don't taste soft chicken just hard crispy dough. Bulgogi and galbi were solid and pork belly was a bit salty. Needs a little more sugar or flavor

EDIT: I never contacted the restaurant for a free appetizer, but have ordered from Gogi several times since the mistake. Delicious spicy pork bulgogi and kimchi fried rice! My first experience with the restaurant seemed abnormal compared to the 3-4 times I've had afterwards. Will continue to eat/order from here!

Ordered galbi and received bulgogi. Ridiculous.

Soup was not good either - totally different from most soondubu.

They also gave me kimchi and spicy cucumber in ONE sauce cup. Cheap much? Didn't provide any other banchans like other Korean restaurants. Go to Chodang!

I ordered bibimbap through DoorDash, but it arrived completely uncooked — just raw vegetables and ingredients in a container. When I called the restaurant to ask about it, the owner said bibimbap is always served this way so customers can cook it themselves.

I’ve ordered bibimbap many times before from different restaurants, and it always came fully prepared and ready to eat. There was no mention on the menu that this was a DIY version or required cooking at home. Instead of offering any apology or clarification, the owner insisted this was normal.

I use DoorDash to receive meals ready to eat — not meal kits. If this is how their bibimbap is served, it needs to be clearly stated. This was frustrating and honestly felt like a waste of money.

Absolutely incredible food, service and value. A true hidden gem for Korean food in the heart of Chandler!

I've been coming here for years, foods is excellent and I had ate at alots of korean restaurants in AZ. I still come back to this place cause it's consistently good.

First time trying them out via Doordash. Ordered 3 entrees, 1 was missing, and the other was a BOGO deal of dumplings THEY advertised, and I only got 1 order of the dumplings. That's 2 out of 3 entrees messed up. I paid $75 for 3 entrees - EXPENSIVE, and they can't even get it right. Won't be a repeat customer.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing the beef bulgogi hot plate was out of this world. We’ve taken our rounds looking for the best and I promise this is the best! The man who owns the restaurant was absolutely so kind and awesome! Thank you!

Very nice food and ambience.

We came for dinner and were disappointed. The seafood pancake was ok the octopus in it was chewy and overcooked. The beef bulgogi was good but the rice that came with it was overcooked. The hot pot bulgogi was good.

Food was good. Their behavior was good. But the washroom was not well maintained at all. I took Korean fried chicken for 18$.

I wasn't expecting much, but the dogani stew and pork belly were so delicious. There are a lot of crucibles in Dogani Soup!

I came around 8pm and thankfully it was quiet and slightly empty inside. The area I was seated in was unfortunately hot but not too bothersome. It would be nice if the restaurant offered some more options for sanitation besides hand sanitizer (wipes, spray and paper towel, etc).

Service here was so patient with me and my 9 month son. I needed some alone time as I lost power and we enjoyed every bit of our meal. The side dishes were a little watered down and losing a bit of its crunch but it’s expected since I came towards an hour to closing.

I tried croaker fish for my first time and I loved it ! It was highly recommended by my mother who loves out in California. She never ate it at this location but it was something she tried elsewhere and thankful they had it here. I have also ordered the bibimbap and wish that they didn’t serve the egg cooked as I’m used to it being raw . Take note if you come here

The bulgogi bi bim bap was really delicious and it was a large portion, too.

Everything is perfect and I recommend the fried rice for sure. There is an egg draped over the rice which is delicious and the tempura is also perfection.

Parking: Parking is shared with a couple of stores next door.

Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of food that your kid may like.
