Took my mom here for her first Korean food experience and it was amazing. The service was great. We had bulgogi and panjan made customized without seafood.. very yummy highly

We ordered Bulgogi lunch box for takeout when we were traveling. Inside was clean and specious. Staff were very friendly.Food was very tasty, couldn’t finish because of big portions. I saved for dinner later. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. Had the bibimbap and bossam. Both were flavorful and absolutely delicious. Service was standard. Would return again and highly recommend.

When we came in, nobody greeted us for some time. There was an old Asian man sitting very far away, he said 'Hi' but didn't say anything else. The waiter came in and it was an awkward experience to be seated, felt like we weren't welcome guests. The interior is very outdated, with paint chipped all over the walls and cheap decor. Overall, it looks like they got decor and tables and booths all in Goodwill, nothing matches well. It was hot inside, AC wasn't working well, the door was wide open during a high-pollen count day.The menu is cheaply made as well. We ordered beef ramen, bulgogi, and galbi. Bulgogi and galbi were okay but overpriced. Beef ramen had a broth which smelled like a wet dog and tasted terrible. It was just ramen, broth, green onions and old tasteless beef slices. My child who loves ramen refused to eat it.Ban chan was not good. Gamja jorim was very dry.The waiter didn't refill the water when we were low on it. I asked for ramen to be served first but the waiter brought it to us the very last. There was no children's menu and no crayons and coloring page. There was one other table when we got seated. Then later, two other small groups came in and had to wait to be awkwardly seated. When we left, nobody said anything to us. We will not go back. I'd rather make my own galbi.

The bento boxes are a feast! If you like variety and Korean/Japanese food, you can not go wrong here. We always have leftovers, which amounts to another meal, especially with the bonchon they provide. The only complaint about the bento is that the fried chicken is not as fresh as the other offerings within the bento, very stringy and chewy. The bibimbap and jjigaes are good, but the quantity is where it shines.

I really wanted to love this place but I felt like I was slightly disappointed. None of the ban chans were really tasty and the bibimbap was lacking a lot of spice, even when we covered it with the spicy sauce they provided. Now the bulgogi meat itself was very tasty, I would recommend that the most.

This place is just... Amazing!!! Some of the best tasting and portions food I had in awhile! The service was quick, and the place was quiet. Prices were appropriate, and it's a place I can't wait to go to again next time I'm in Mesa!

A big group of co-workers and I tried out Gogi for lunch and it was a great time. Food was good and pretty quick for how many of us there were. Staff was friendly and the portions are on the large side. Lunch specials are a good price too!

This is a hidden gem in the plaza. We ordered lunch boxes for lunch. The portion was huge, and food tasted great, especially the rice. We had to take some of the food home. When the owner gave us the boxes, he also gave us extra rice and said we can enjoy it for the next meal. This was totally unexpected and we decided it will be our go-to place when we are at this area in the future.

I was really excited to try based on reviews, so my friend and I drove across town to try hoping to get some delicious dishes. However we were both very disappointed. We decided to share an order of the spicy rice cakes with ramen & dumplings , an order of vegetable tempura and a beef and brisket soup to help warm us up. To start the spicy rice cakes were decent, but lacked any real flavor or heat in the sauce , which was a disappointment. The vegetable tempura was delicious. It was hot and crisp when we received it and we really enjoyed it. Last, the beef and brisket soup was the most disappointing, it had no real flavor, and it was very under-seasoned. This was the biggest let down as other Korean soups and stews that I have had are usually really hearty and flavorful. I am really hoping that this was just a one off and hope to try the sweet and spicy fried chicken sometime in the future.

I was craving a hot bowl of soup on a cold and rainy day. I was leaning towards pho or ramen but decided to give Gigi a try as their menu seemed interested. The oxtail soup options were intriguing, but I decided to keep it conservative and go with a beef and brisket soup. The presentation was nice, but I did feel the noodle to broth ratio was way off. It looked like and tasted like a pho. Very light and delicate and only a few nuggets of brisket. The meal came with 5 side dishes, but i didn't try any- I would told them not to bring them out if I had known (sorry to waste). I found it tasty overall but I left unsatisfied and felt it was a little overpriced.
