My BBQ Is Better Than YOURS!
I should have known better but I took a chance. I went in on Monday (2/12/24) and ordered a Hot & Sour soup (small) to go. When I got home & opened up the bowl to take a spoonful. The soup was SOUR like a whole bottle of lemon juice was poured in there & had an old taste! I mean SOUR , it was old and nasty.other places Hot & SOUR soups do not taste this bad.Never again with I order deom here. I will drive a few miles more to get what I know is good & tasty!

The best Chinese food we've found. Love the Kung Pao shrimp and the chicken with pan fried green beans. Have ordered takeout three times in the last month. YUM!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a lot of food from here thinking we would have at LEAST got fresh food served to us with the amount we were ordering cause it was a lot we ordering. A big mistake to spend $70 on COLD dried out chicken, flavorless stale tasting chow mein, cold grey colored fried rice with no veggies and soups that had absolute no flavor and no taste to them. Every time we tried asking for a refill on our drinks we felt we were being an inconvenience when there were no other people in there except my family and I . Oh & to add the cherry on the top the water tasted like toilet water, no joke. Sad to throw money down the drain on a careless service, stale nasty food, weird smelling restaurant with expensive flavorless entrees and sides. I highly recommend hibachi grill if you want good fresh quality food for same price and more variety of food.

Foods great but the 2nd time I ordered from them I got a piece of a metal scrub brush in my fried rice and I've heard they can do tremendous damage if swallowed. I'm not happy they let this happen if you see this and continue to order anyways just be

This was the 2nd time we tried Gold Chef. First time was good but t hey did put in onions when I requested no onions. This last Monday night we ordered it for the big game and it was the BEST Chinese food i had ever had. the flavor was great and the portions were huge so we actually got 2 meals out of our order. It was fantastic.

We ordered 2 simple meals. Fried rice and chow mein with hot and sour soup with 2 appetizers. You would think the appetizers would come out first. O hell no. Asked for some sauce and the kid gave me a hand wave to go away? Counter guy put on his jacket and left us alone to do a delivery. We are confused and food is cold. Who are these guys? No wonder this place a 3.5 rating and. Still in business. To go orders to presidents over dine in customers.
Ordered take out this evening…. Picked it up and drove the hour home….ordered sweet and sour chicken… we only got chicken and no sweet and sour sauce. Ordered fried rice and it was the worse fried rice ever… it was like rice that was drenched in soy sauce and I saw like one piece of egg…the egg roll and the egg drop soup was the only thing that was edible…. Seriously the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten… waste of $50. Called the place back and they offered to refund my $13 for the chicken but I would have to give them my card over the phone to do so…. ?

Good food with fast service in a clean and tidy place. None of the food was the best ive had but it was pretty good and decently priced. They seem to have had a change in management or something, as previous reviews said terrible things, however more recent ones were improving and it was much better when we went. Would recommend!
