Good atmosphere when a live band is playing, but no matter how many times they change names it is the same place with the same high drink prices. Food menu has been cut way back and the food is still mediocre at best and over priced
Really love the vibe here. Went to see my buddy's band and was super impressed with the layout, the menu and the crowd.
First time to this place and won’t be the last time. Nice play to hang out and watch the game.
It has been a while food is ok some good some just barfood. Service is good fun. Other patrons were fun also, and important part of any bar
This is a great place to catch a game or kick back with some of the best local live music around. Whether you're into sports, dancing, or just soaking up the vibe, it's got you covered. The energy is always up, and the bands never disappoint!
ZOEY ROCKS! and GO HUSKERS!!!!!
The food was incredible... Large portions (had leftovers!!), everything came out hot, good flavor. Two thumbs up for the pretzels and queso, cheese pizza, and bacon BBQ burger. Our server was great, too... Very friendly! ☺️
The live music/open mic was a blast... Great vibe, great performers, great crowd. Everyone was so supportive and fun!
The only two downsides were 1) no low-top tables anywhere near the stage; High-tops are challenging/uncomfortable for some people. And 2) it was quite warm in there.
All in all, the food, service, and entertainment were worth coming back for!
It looks like my previous review was deleted. So here's a summary: I was hired as a DJ here about 2 years ago, to host karaoke every Wednesday night. Even though it was a super early show (6-10pm) it was super popular, because I am a super well-known DJ with a big following. All was going well until the owner SOLD the bar to a moron with absolutely zero industry experience. Coincidentally, the (original) owner had contracted me to DJ their bar's company holiday party (we had an agreement in writing via email with rates and Mgr confirmed the date via text). They were aware my price for a private party was $500, with my weekly 4hr shows at $200. The following week I was paid my weekly rate but not paid for the party. The week after that the new owner informed me he was lowering my weekly payment to $150, with no advance notice. The next check was only $150 and still no $500 for the private party - 2 weeks afterward by this point. When I asked him about the payment, he said he was going to write a bad review of my DJ company, and he was going to 1099 me. Fortunately he didn't do either, but to this day I have never been paid for the private party in January 2023. I heard that around that time they also cut several of their bands' pay. So I know I'm not the only local artist with a "bad business" review of this place. But how long can they continue to stay open when they do business this way? It's bad juju, at best.
Took my family for our sons' birthday to see a band. Party of 7, shared food, had drinks and a couple shots. The bill was $380??? My daughter in-law and I drank a couple tall Captain and Diet. They were $16 each??!! It's worse than the airport. Never ever paid so much for a family night out to see a band. The service was fine, food decent, and music was good, but they are grossly over charging for drinks so unfortunately we won't go back.

Todd is a b-u-s-y server with the gift of gab! Proof? I asked him for a Blue Moon with the orange of course. He replied, "Is there any other way?" The fish and chips weee fantastic. Karaoke on Tuesdays, big stage where we can perform and perhaps even embarrass ourselves, yuk yuk. Hope to see other Google Guides here someday soon.

9/29/24: Well, despite the 3-star review from 7/16/22 (I said we wouldn't be back), but we did -- although we didn't know it until we pulled into the lot (my sister picked the restaurant and neither of us remembered being there before). Ah well.
As we walked in, though, it started coming back: that we did not remember being overwhelmed by the previous visit. I must say though, this go around was much better. The food was hot, with a few different items on the menu. the two pretzels were huge, as well as burn-your-fingers-hot, plus the wanton-wrapped deep fried pickles were a nice addition.
We did not have any cocktails this time so I cannot say if there was an improvement since out last visit. The ambiance was the same as last time, typical bar scene.
7/16/22: Checked out Catching Flights the Saturday before July 4th. Arrived around 4 or 4:30 and it was probably about half full. There is plenty of parking, which is always good and the place was maybe 1/3 to 1/2 full.
We picked a table in the back to avoid the loud booming reverberations from the live music. After a few minutes passed we got worried sitting in the back may not have been smart since no server came over quickly, but another minute or two later someone came by.
It was typical bar food, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. The fried avo bites were a different appetizer than we've seen before and although I am 100% they were not freshly made but from a bag, they were pretty good albeit a bit too well fried.
The drink my sister got was 99% ice and 1% alcohol, totally not worth the $12 (I think that was the cost) considering it was more of a shot glass sized drink. The San Diego Sandwich and Black & Bleu Burger came out cold and hot, respectively. Both tasted fine, the tater tots were not specially seasoned in any way, just plain ol' tots.
Was it a good meal for the price? Sure. Was it so good that we would go back? No.
