I had high hopes for this place due to its unique location. However, the patio was covered with some unappealing plastic cover. The food was average, and our server made a mistake in calculating the bill. Considering these issues, I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

Hanger feels like stepping into a cozy old school diner with home cooked food and super attentive staff that make you feel right at home. It’s a hidden gem that’s perfect for brunch and totally worth coming back for especially for the French toast, cinnamon roll, and country fried steak.

Hangar Cafe is always fun. Good food, good service. It's busy on weekends and there is usually a wait, so I fly in during the week. Inside is pretty noisy so I try to get seated on the patio. Take your kids to see airplanes. 👍👌

I am lucky enough that I get to visit this awesome area at least once a year and my visit isn’t complete without my annual pilgrimage to The Hangar Café. The food is so good: real, homemade and consistently delicious. Staff are top notch. I feel welcome as a once-in-a-while guest ALWAYS. The atmosphere is nostalgic, upbeat and light-hearted, with a vintage feel and some tongue-in-cheek humour. I was lucky enough after my visit today to snag a tee-shirt to take home and wear with pride. Thanks Hangar Café!

The manager and male server were very rude and short tempered. They even came off a bit aggressive. The biscuits and gravy are $7 and some change on the menu and online. I also ordered an orange juice. My total came out to $16 and some change. Also my receipt did not even list the what I had purchased. So unless my orange juice was more expensive than the meal I ordered 🤷♂️ they are stealing or overcharged me on accident and I’m not surprised considering they seemed to be making plenty of mistakes and not just with me. Simple things too. “Plane” and simple I also see that a few other reviews reflect this as well. Great place though and it has unique views and a cozy feeling. The biscuits and gravy taste like they where made in a microwave but the hash browns where amazing and where included as part of the $7.50 meal as stated on menu, as well as online. The atmosphere would have been exceptional except for the aggressive and abrasive nature of the male server on shift today and the manager’s ineptitude for comprehending and answering a very simple and polite question, only to grow frustrated with me for even asking and rudely telling me to sit down somewhere. Tap to pay was my only form of payment that day. I wouldn’t want to eat a meal only to find myself with a bill I couldn’t pay. I also was not given a straw for my orange juice and the lovely elderly couple sitting behind me also had to ask for one as well. Long story short, the service was absolutely the most terrible I have ever experienced.
Love sitting outside and watching the planes! Just a fun experience! Oh, and food is yummy!

This place is in a cool little airpark, and watching planes take off and land is super fun. The staff was friendly, but the food was pretty bad, and we even saw a cook microwave a pancake. Despite that, we’ll probably come back just for the fun vibe and plane-watching.
