I’ve traveled a lot and this place is a hidden gem in Chandler serving some of the best sushi I have ever had. Quality ingredients, quality craftsmanship, and quality service. This sushi is so good that you dare not scary sauce and wasabi. It is 110% perfect unadulterated!

FOOD POISONING!!! I am on the toilet right now with a horrible bout of food poisoning. These 5 star reviews must be purchased because my date and I last night couldn’t even finish the food. We took 1 bite of the sushi roll and 2 bites of sashimi and we could tell by the smell and the taste that it was rancid. They still charged us and now I’m dealing with food poisoning and I’m extremely dizzy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The first thing I have to say is—this is hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in Arizona, and I’ve had a lot. I used to be a loyal fan of places like Kodo, Uchi and Harumi, but this place tops them both.
You can truly feel the love and care the owner puts into every single dish. The miso-glazed pork belly melts in your mouth—it’s rich, tender, and full of flavor. All the fish is incredibly fresh, and everything is crafted with such precision. My absolute favorite is the spring roll sushi—he wraps the fish in Vietnamese spring roll rice paper, and the texture is unbelievably good. Light, delicate, fresh and totally unique.
The Hamachi Kama is another must-try—perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. And if sushi isn’t your thing, the hot dishes are just as amazing. I try something new every time I go because I genuinely want to work my way through the whole menu—and let me tell you, not a single dish has missed.
Even the fried rice, which I’d normally pass on at a sushi spot, is next level. It’s mixed with crispy garlic chips that are cooked right into the rice, adding this incredible savory crunch in every bite. I still think about it long after the meal.
And don’t skip dessert—the fried Oreos are absolutely wild in the best way.
On top of all that, the owner always greets us with a big smile, checks in to make sure we’re happy, and truly makes you feel welcome. Amazing food, amazing service, and an overall 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

Not what one would think in a small strip mall area. Very fresh tasting and reasonably priced. My first time here and I'll for sure be back.

Chandlers Hidden Gem!!! “We tried every local sushi restaurant so you don’t have to (post)” and this was the best sushi in Chandler AZ! The service, the rolls, freshness and atmosphere were all spectacular. I highly suggest the garlic Parm edamame, Hi5 Roll, any form of nigiri (Seared Tuna or Albacore Binche Maguro), Salmon Bomber, AZ Roll. Being a sushi aficionado and CA native, my wife and I have been searching for a place that serves high quality sushi and am glad we found Hi5! 10/10 Highly Recommend!! ⭐️

Great sushi from a great sushi chef, Tommy. I love the jalapeño boats and Sahara rainbow roll. When I am in the Valley this is where I come.
Chill atmosphere even when busy. Food is good and has decent variety to chose from

I gave this place really high rating before.
However, I got the chirashi from them yesterday and accidentally ate a penny sized green bug from the salad. Called the restaurant, and they said they would call me back. Still haven't heard from them. Besides the bug, the salmon tasted old and not fresh at all.
It was traumatizing because I am also entomophobia....😭😭😭😭😭
