Very homely taste of curries. I had chile bhatura, tasted awesome. Their Dabeli is my goto favorite 😍 along with Jamun shots! A must try for super tasty drink to end it with. Waiting to try their gujarati menu thali! 🌈

Be careful when you order for takeout. If you order any plate in duplicate or more, request them to put each order in a separate container or else the quantity will be what fits in their plastic container even ordered say for two. For Gujarati Thali, you want Daal, Kadhi and Subji to be packed in multiple containers . There is no service. You get up and get your own cutlery and water. So no need to give Tip.

Summary: Hit or miss, overpriced, subpar service.

We have eaten multiple times here and the experience has been very varied. Our most disappointing was when we went on a Saturday and they said they didn’t have half the things on the menu because the chef had gone for a live catering! Their menu states Indo-Chinese only on weekends, we went specifically for that. They also didn’t have half the options in their thaali for the same reason. That day the quality of food was really substandard, the Punjabi thaali had sweet gravy!!! Thali is also limited which is disappointing for the amount of money we pay for it.

They are often understaffed, and food takes long to arrive. The taste of certain items is good, but limited quantity.

Will be going to Honest instead for consistent quality vegetarian food.

Also, FYI: they have a promotion at the table where they give free gulab jamun in exchange for a GOOD review. Makes me wonder how many of the good reviews are really gulaab jamun reviews.

Vegetarian options: Maybe call ahead to see if their full menu is available that day or the chef has taken another assignment outside 🫤🫤
Honest restaurant more reliable and better variety menu for vegetarians.

Some items like Dhokla Bhakri are great. Would recommend to select items instead of thali.

I tried so many different indian restaurants, but this one is the worst. Too much oily food and very less quantity as per the price.

I rarely leave bad reviews but this one is much warranted.
Food here is just okay. Portion sizes are tiny for the price. The owner is very rude. They don’t provide napkins, spoons etc. If you ask them, they make a face and provide limited supply. This is not a kid friendly place and it’s definitely not suitable for large groups. Bathroom is super dirty. The owner shouted at my child for walking around the restaurant !!! Hospitality industry should not treat customers like second class citizens. We pay for what we eat. I am definitely not coming back.

Worst place ever - place felt very dirty and unpleasant and the two times we went for dinner on the weekend and we were the only ones there . We should have thought about it at the beginning as to why there is not a single person in a restaurant especially on a weekend but we were hungry to move places . We ordered the usual stuff from the menu . Food came in about 5-10 mins . The server came with the chaat items and accidentally toppled the tray . The food spilled a little bit on our dress ,table and floor . Even though most of the chat was still in the plate he did not offer to get a new one . He expected us to eat from the same plate from which the food was spilled over . That is not a mark of a good service that too at a restaurant . It was more than 20 mins and no showed up to clean the spillage on the floor . We had to tell them to clean. We ordered rajasthani thali and the dal and baati was terrible . The baatis were hard as rock and even after soaking it in the dal for 5 mins it was still very hard . Couldn’t eat it so ordered a new dish saying that we felt it is too hard to eat . The staff dint seem concerned . We ordered a few more items out of which only one or two was actually eatable . Worst place and never going again !!!
