I have been ordering from Jimmy John's for years, starting when they were in Tucson, before they even opened any locations in Phoenix. I always order a sandwich and the unsweet iced tea. Today I placed an online order, and for the third time in the row the tea tastes like sewage, or some other kind of gross smell is in the drink or the ice. I don't know how else to describe it. I called the store, and the person I spoke with said it must be that I don't like the flavor of the tea, even though I explained to him this has happened multiple times (and I know what iced tea should taste like). He said he's never had that complaint before, all they do is mix water with the tea bags, and that the ice maker is less than 30 days old. He stated they clean everything frequently. He did offer me a replacement drink. I just want other people to know, don't get the unsweet tea at this location. I will not be going back to this Jimmy John's.

I had always heard that Jimmy John's was “freaky fast,” but I didn’t realize they were also pioneering the invisible sandwich.

For a mere $21, we ordered two sandwiches. What I received was essentially a warm lettuce hug with three emotional-support tomato slices. Meat? Allegedly present. When I brought it back, I was informed there was ONE slice of turkey hidden somewhere beneath the lettuce — like a Where’s Waldo situation, but less fun and more expensive.

I also paid extra for cheese, which I can only assume was applied in spirit. Perhaps it was a cheese vapor.

The manager handled the situation by aggressively scolding the staff in front of me and then the staff asked if I wanted to “talk to someone about it.” You mean… the manager? The same person who just performed a live dramatic reading of I Hate My Job: The Musical? I’ll pass.

All in all, if you’re craving a $10 lettuce sandwich with a scavenger hunt twist, this is your spot. If you’re looking for actual meat and cheese, you may want to bring your own.

The ingredients tasted fresh. The bread was really good. A bit skimpy on the meat slices for a sandwich called Big John's. Yet the combination worked and the food tasted great.

The workers here are phenomenal and very kind. Everyone clearly cares about putting the customer first! Not to mention their delivery service is top notch! Always fast and consistent, way better than door dash or Uber Eats (not mention they sure have some handsome delivery drivers)!

A #6 veggie order was placed and I found a piece of chicken in the wrapper. There is no mechanism or minimum care to at least change the gloves, have a separate packaging process and be considerate about the dietary restrictions or preferences of the clients. The person who took the order seemed irked about the feedback on their lack of quality. Unacceptable!

I usually enjoy coming to this location, but my recent experience left me disappointed. We came in about two hours before closing time, and the employee working made us feel uncomfortable for even placing an order. It was as if our presence was an inconvenience rather than a part of their job. Her attitude suggested she didn’t really want to be there, and the customer service felt rushed and unwelcoming.

A friendly greeting and a more positive attitude would have made a big difference, especially considering we came well before closing. Hopefully, management can address this so future guests feel more welcomed.

Went to Jimmy John's on unday 8/10/2025. Awful! The sub was dry, they did not make make it the way I requested (lett, tomato, mayo Jimmy mustard and oil and vinger). They just threw in mayo and mustard packs. Quality of food not what it used to be.

The gentleman up front was excellent and very fast! Unfortunately he was the only one working there at the time, but he was holding down the fort pretty well!

LOVE their food, but tbh I've always popped my sandwich in the nuke for a brief moment because cold food at dinner time just seems odd for some reason. So, for anyone who's ever wished they toasted their subs, guess what. THEY DO NOW!!! Nuke-free JJ'S are now on the menu!!! It's a game changer 😆
