We've been coming to Keegan's for over 15 years. When we've been away for a while, it's the first stop on the way home from the airport. It's a bit of a tradition for us as a couple. That said, it certainly has changed over the years. We still custom the place as a tradition for us, but the menu and the drafts on tap used to be way better than they are now. Staff is always friendly and always has been. The patio is still a great place to chill as the sun...
Had to wait to be seated and it took a couple minutes (there was no one ahead of us).. the service was meh, and the food was good. We went specifically for fish and chips. It was okay but my husband is an English man and he liked the the panko fish but I think he's more of a purist and wanted more of a batter, but I thought it was really good! I didn't care for the coleslaw but he loved it (I'm not a fan of onion/]pepper taste) he did really like the tarter sauce...
Keegan's is so much better than other restaurants I have eaten at recently. I just had the steak medallions with gorgonzola. Simply fantastic flavors. My wife had the panko fish and I would swear they make all of their sauces in house. She doesn't like tartar sauce normally but theirs is exceptional and she truly enjoyed it. Also save room for the mini key lime pie. Definitely a cut above the rest. Also as others have said the service here is quick, smiling, and friendly....
