Beautiful hike in the Scottsdale area. The McDowell Mountains are great for any level of hikers and all ages. There are countless trails you can take - all of which have amazing scenic views. Perfect place for tourists to get a glimpse of the desert plants and animals. All trails are well marked. Dog friendly.

The atmosphere was good. The shard of glass that was found on my wife's tongue as she was drinking a draft beer not so much. They tried to take the piece of glass away from me which I refused. they promised that a manager would call us immediately the next day, Did we ever hear anything from them?nothing which just goes to show you they didn't care. Would I ever dare to go back there after this experience hell no.An experience like this should have had everybody's attention and obviously it was more of a problem for us than it was for them. Seems they don't care that my wife might have swallowed a shard of glass.

We went on thanksgiving, super slow and waited a long time. The food was really good. The pad tai I had has a nice kick to the flavor

This place is absolutely phenomenal! Went to lunch and they were a hostess short. The manager was very quick to assure that we were taken care of and he was the sweetest thing! They definitely have much business for sure. Not to mention the food was amazing as well.

Stopped by for happy hour and was not disappointed! These are the cheeseburger sliders and they are fantastic. The beer was ice cold and never empty for more than a minute. Everyone working was over the top nice.

A little pricey. But if u can swing it its incredible! The sushi bar is amazing!! friendly staff, with all the fixings, sports channel, wine, beer, sake bombs, they have a great vibe for those that enjoy a little bit of quite, nice serene locations on the right, bar on the left and Sushi Counter straight ahead! The got an open area for viewing the sushi masters at work! Try it out!

Went here for lunch, appetizers. Food was tasty and the atmosphere was amazing. Wasn't too crowded, staff was very helpful in helping with options. Drinks were on a pricey side to me even at happy hour time. Definitely a place to check out. Will go back again

Great atmosphere! Friendly service and the food was lovely! I highly recommend the avocado egg rolls and the vegetarian roll. The seaweed salad was also very refreshing. Order a cocktail and enjoy great food with great company.

I can't believe is out of business!!!! It was so convenient to go and have fun with friends, now gone. Such a shame!

Ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Yellow Tail Sashimi and Seaweed Salad. Everything was average tasting. In fact, the Seaweed Salad had a slimy consistency, so I imagine it was sitting for a while before being served. The Sashimi is actually not served over rice but over some kind of lettuce/cabbage shreddings. The entire restaurant seemed unkept and our table was sticky. Our server was not very helpful but seemed in a rush, yet our food took a while to come out. Definitely not coming back. Yet another Arizona restaurant that left us unimpressed with their cuisine.

When we arrived at this place, there were absolutely no people waiting to be seated. Still, we were made to wait a LONG time to be seated, while looking at 8-10 empty tables. Then given the excuse that there was "a big party along the wall". There seems to be quite a few other comments about the need for better staffing.

Normally I wouldn't post another review so soon. Last one was only four months ago. But since they have a new menu I hope rating additional items will be helpful. This actually covers the past TWO visits. Last time I had the Mumbai chicken. It comes out on skewers with a tumeric rice and a sauce. There is a small amount of sauce on the skewers already. The flavor was very nice with a bit of heat (not too much). I found that dipping it in the sauce cup they provided was not good. The sauce was so strong it overwhelmed the chicken and seasoning, so I just went with the tiny amount they had already put on them. This time I had the jambalaya. This one is not new, but has long been a staple on the Kona menu. The jambalaya no longer comes with garlic bread. I requested some separately, and they were nice to bring some out. It had no garlic flavor, just butter and cheese. I really want garlic on my garlic toast. The jambalaya was consistent with what I've had here before several times. It was spicy and flavorful. I like that they use crawfish instead of shrimp. Remains one of my favorites here. The Me Chong steak is served on an Asian salad. My wife liked it. I tried a bite, and the beef was tough but had good flavor. Lightly seasoned, but good. Because it is on a cold salad the meat is not really hot. But it was still flavorful. I'm maintaining my 3-star rating based on all three visits since last December. Some dishes are better-executed than others. Refer to my previous review for further details.

Wtf guys? My bill was 43 $ and than I added 7$ tips so it was 50$ from my credit card. Now I am checking my bank account and I see 53$ ! It is just 3 f... dollars but only rats do stuff like that.

This restaurant needs a major overhaul! The food is good and the service is great but the decor is substandard. The tables are worn down and sticky (not sticky because they were dirty, the finish wore off) and chairs were dirty. The carpet and lighting needs to be updated and replaced. The menu was faded and worn down and not what you would expect from a restaurant at that price point. Why did we stay? We were craving the Miso Sea Bass! We will continue to eat at Kona Grill but not the Chandler location. Note to corporate: Invest some money in updating this restaurant and bring it up to par!
