Margaritas are premixed, weak, bland. Everyone at the table got a different one and had the same experience. We all switched to beer. Mexican meals served with mashed potatoes....not a good combo. One person in the party had fish tacos and he took 1 bite and said they were disgusting. Disappointing experience all around.

I love that this place is just slightly away from the center of down town chandler. The food was excellent! I had the Tamale and green chili enchilada, my husband had the stacked enchilada with an egg on top. Their sangria is a great price and super good. My friend got the frozen margarita and it was huge!

The chicken enchilada with green sauce is excellent. The Red Chili stacked hasbrowns for brunch are delicious. They serve three different kinds of salsa with your chips. There is also a great tequila selection. Highly recommend ?

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I’m originally from New Mexico but lived in Arizona for two years and I love to go to restaurants like these that take me back to the food in New Mexico. Restaurants I only go to our base in New Mexico because other Mexican restaurants that are not from New Mexico are not the same as from New Mexico.

We went to listen to the live music. Ian Eric is the bomb! We ordered margaritas and nachos. The margs were decent, and the nachos were very good. The older waitress barely spoke to us and never smiled. She was not friendly at all. I will be back to listen to music and definitely order the awesome nachos.
Have always enjoyed our meals and time here without question until today.. perhaps more training in guest care with female bartenders?? Thank you !

Sat at outside table with friends on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone loved their food. The 3 types of salsa and chips were good. My chimichanga with 3X green hot sauce was excellent. Fried ice cream was delicious. The drinks were good also- try an iceberg with blended marg over cerveza. Endless mimosas or bloody marys for $20, yes, please! One guy got wings and found it odd that there is no blue cheese on the property. Service was good. We'll be back.
My wife and I are in town visiting Phoenix for the the first time. We are staying at the crown plaza and decided to walk around to find a place to eat. We first came across another Mexican restaurant but we are so glad we came. The whole experience at La Rista was great.We had a wonderful server Naudia who took great care of us! But I do want to shout out to all the staff. We had about 4 people come refill our water. We also sat out on the side patio which was wonderful. They turned the heaters on for us so we were nice and toasty.House margs - 10/10! They came so fast and tasted amazing.Green chili burrito - 12/10! The flavor was out of this world.Mexican pizza - 7/10 - it was good but I think I like green white sauce better than the red sauce that came (the burrito was so big did not really even need it)Overall a great restaurant and do recommend!TLDR: in the mood for Mexican just go.
